Yatra.com, a leading online travel company today announced the appointment of Alok Vaish as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. As a CFO, Alok will lead Yatra.com's overall growth strategy and will be responsible for fund raising, mergers & acquisitions, financial planning, budgeting, cash management, investor relations, corporate secretarial functions and fiscal management policies of the company. As part of the top management team, Alok will also work with the Board and the CEO on setting overall strategic direction and long-term planning for the organization. Alok brings thirteen years of rich experience to Yatra.com.

Prior to this, Alok was the CFO of Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries Ltd (HSIL), which is a publicly listed largest bathroom products company in India.

Alok has more than thirteen years of finance and operational experience spanning myriad roles in his career. Prior to this he was a part of the key Investment banking team at Duetche Bank, New York responsible for M&A transactions in excess of US $60 billion.  

Alok graduated in Bachelors of Commerce from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi. A rank holder in CA final examination, he completed his Chartered Accountancy from ICAI, New Delhi and Company Secretary from ICSI, New Delhi before securing his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious The Darden School of Business, University of Virginia (USA).
