Samsung launches ‘Smart Oven’ models

Digital technology leader, Samsung India, today announced the launch of three new Smart Oven models in the Indian market having 36L and 42L capacities. Samsung Smart Ovens offer a unique combination of conventional ovens, griller and microwave to offer maximized cooking performance.

Samsung Smart ovens cook four times faster than conventional ovens, thereby saving time and energy. The surround heating system of the Smart Ovens ensures tastier cooking of food. The multiple heating sources (2 Convectional, 2 Grill and 1 Microwave) cook evenly and make everyday meals to any cuisine preparation 10% extra juicy. The ceramic enamel coating within the Samsung Smart Oven ensure healthier cooking since it is anti bacterial and easy to clean. The Samsung Smart Oven is easy to use and compact in size.

While the CQ 138S (37L Smart Oven) is priced at Rs.25, 990/-, the 42 L Smart ovens are priced at  Rs.31, 990/- and Rs.35, 990/-. States Mr. R. Zutshi, Deputy Managing Director, Samsung Electronics states, “The Samsung Smart Ovens are unique and offer a combination of conventional oven, griller and microwave function - a three in one convenience, all in an extremely user friendly, compact device .With the launch of Samsung Smart Ovens , we are seeking to create a new segment in the hi end convection microwave oven segment”.  Samsung has also announced the launch of 5 new Microwave Oven models , including one 20L Solo model, two 23 L Grill models and two Convection models (32L and 37L).

The Samsung Convection Microwave ovens come with the innovative ‘Trio’ Heater for deeper and more even cooking of food .Equipped with three heat sources- the Ceramic and Quartz heaters for grilling and Sheath heaters for Convection, the Samsung Convection microwave ovens offer the benefit of faster and tastier preparation of food.

With the launch of the new models, Samsung has a range of 4 Solo, 8 Grill, 8 Convection and 3 Smart ovens priced in the range between Rs.3,990/- to Rs.35,990/-. Based on the launch of its new , advanced 2008 Microwave oven range , the Company hopes to achieve over 50% growth in its Microwave oven sales this Year .
