In a move to offer a world-class data and voice experience to CDMA customers, Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCOM) and Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8330 smartphone in India.
Reliance Communications has a wide range of BlackBerry smartphones for its CDMA customers such as the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8130 and the BlackBerry® 8703e. Reliance is the first Indian operator to launch the BlackBerry® 8830 World Edition allowing interoperability between the high speed CDMA and ubiquitous GSM networks. BlackBerry 8830 World Edition enables Reliance customers to experience high speed Internet access as well as offers international roaming across the globe, to enhance productivity of business professionals on the move.
