Dabur enters hard surface cleaner market with Dazzl

Marking its foray into the hard surface cleaning market, India's leading consumer products maker Dabur India Ltd on Thursday announced the launch of two new products -- disinfectant Floor Cleaner and anti-bacterial Kitchen Cleaner – under the 'Dazzl' brand.

Launching the new Dazzl hard surface cleaner range, Dabur India Ltd Senior General Manager (Home Care) Mr. Girish Kumar said: "The new Dazzl hard surface cleaner range is a result of extensive research from Dabur India and is a truly world class product for the Indian market. The Dazzl range will keep the home and kitchen environment clean and free from harmful germs that affect the health of the entire family."

The Dazzl range works effectively in not only keeping your house sparkling clean but also in eliminating 99.9% germs on hard non-porous kitchen and floor surfaces that you come into contact with every day. Dazzl Disinfectant Floor Cleaner will come in 550ml SKU, priced at Rs 50, while Dazzl Anti-Bacterial Kitchen Cleaner will be available in two SKUs of 400ml spray (priced at Rs 75) and 500ml toggle (Rs 65).

The national rollout, Mr. Kumar said, follows the success of Dazzl's test-marketing exercise in South. "The consumer response to Dazzl in the test market was in line with expectations, encouraging us to nationally rollout the product within 6-8 months of its test launch," he added.

Dazzl Disinfectant Floor Cleaner has a unique 'Dirt Trap Technology' -- developed in collaboration with a New York-based International Research Laboratory -- which ensures that the muddy solution settles down in the bucket, offering a clear solution every time for mopping. This technology not only gives clear water for mopping everytime, hence superior cleaning but also saves precious water.

Dazzl Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner ensures complete protection from oil, grease, and invisible germs in the kitchen. Its well-researched and unique formulation with 'SQL Activ' removes grease, oil and food stains across all kitchen surfaces like Gas Stoves, Kitchen Platform, Tiles, Chimneys, Exhaust Fans, Sinks, Microwave Owen, Mixer, Toaster, Kitchen Cabinet and Utensils.

Dabur also announced a brand association deal with popular television star Smriti Z Irani for promoting the new range of Dazzl hard surface cleaners.
