First Winner ends below issue price

First Winner Industries (FWIL), engaged in the manufacture of grey fabrics and in supplying textile fabrics to various wholesalers, apparel and garment manufacturers, ended at Rs 89.20 on the NSE, at a discount of 28.64% to its issue price of Rs 125.

On the NSE, the share touched an intraday high of Rs 129.90 and intraday low of Rs 81. The total traded quantity was 1,24,23,126 shares and turnover was Rs 10739.79 lakh.

On the BSE, the share closed at Rs 89.50. On BSE its intraday high was at Rs 125 and intraday low was at Rs 80.50. The total traded quantity was 1,35,92,396 shares.

The share had listed at Rs 110 on the NSE against the issue price of Rs 125 at a discount of 12% whereas on the BSE the share had opened at Rs 125 at its issue price.

The issue which closed on June 17, 2008, was subscribed 1.26 times. The qualified institutional bidders portion was subscribed to approximately around 1.05 times; the non-institutional bidders portion was subscribed to approximately around 1.84 times; the retail portion was subscribed to approximately around 1.32 times.
