American billionaire Wilbur Ross said he is interested in SpiceJet. “We have held talks with the company.” Earlier, CNBC-TV18 reported that SpiceJet promoters had rejected Kinfisher’s offer. The low-cost airline is looking to raise USD 100 million and will issue fresh equity to WL Ross. WL Ross is known for leveraged buyouts and restructuring ailing companies. |
