Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE that the Sub Committee of Directors at its Meeting held on August 26, 2008, has allotted 20,73,770 nos of ROCDs of Rs 100/- each by way of Preferential Issue to M/s. HDFC Ventures Trustee Company Ltd ("HI-REF") at a price of Rs 305/-. The said ROCDs are fully paid up. The allotment has been made in terms of applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and chapter XIII of Securities Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investors Protection) Guidelines, 2000 ("SEBI Guidelines")....

Ansal Properties and Infra has good potential and stock is multi bagger on long term basis. Many FIIs are accumulating the stock at attractive level. Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana has acquired a further 1.03 percent stake in the company to raise its holding to 5.96 percent.

Real estate major Ansal Properties and Infrastructure on Wednesday said it will invest Rs 3,600 crore for developing a 270-acre IT Special Economic Zone and parks in the country.

The proposed 270 acre SEZ would consist of an IT zone, commercial zone, residential zone and a recreational area, a statement issued by Ansal Properties said.

\"These SEZ are aimed at growing IT and ITES companies who are choosing to set up centres in adjoining area of Tier I cities in view of global economic pressure to reduce costs and maximise returns,\" Ansal API Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Pranav Ansal said.

The company developed IT SEZ and IT Park would be branded as \'The Campus\' and \'Net City\' respectively, it added.

Ansal Properties currently has approval for setting up IT or ITES SEZs in Greater Noida, Gurgaon and Mumbai. -T H

It may be possible for this stock to come down as predicted by the fellow investor. Because anything is possible in the stock market. Also, nobody can predict anything in the market. However, today\\\\`s developments in Ansal Properties suggest that the stock is due for appreciation immediately....

At 12:35 pm, Ansal Properties & Infrastructure was quoting at Rs 107.45, up Rs 2.10, or 1.99%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 108.70 and an intraday low of Rs 105.35. The is planning to Invest Rs 3,600 crore in IT SEZ, Parks, reports CNBC-TV18. It was trading with volumes of 538,472 shares.
