Dear Nish,
You are not off the mark. I have very similar views.
Nifty may complete its minor upswing wave. May I call it
nasty tricky INSWINGER to take leg stump away. Nifty
may rise to 2770 or so on Monday and then collapse,
What a bull trap it may be. From the resistance of 2760
falling rather crashing below 2400. Cool investors stay
away from chop show. Novice jump in to make quick profit
but lose their shirt...

Dear coolboy,
I think Nifty is not too far away from its bottom. But
lowest level seen in the month of November does not seem
to be the final bottom. Nifty may rise to the level of
2770 in coming few days and then fall back below 2400.
It may be in the range of 2300-2400 where the lowest
point may be seen. If that happens, it will make DOUBLE
BOTTOM FORMATION. The first bottom being 2253 made on
27 October and the second in next few days in the range
of 2300-2400. Once this downswing wave terminates in the
said range, Nifty will surely rise to its next major
level of resistance which is in the range of 3500-3600

What to do you think of road for mkts going ahead. We touched your levels and do you think that a technical bounce is underway starting from today. Do give your levels sir , and your Ebooks are fantastic , had a fast read yesterday as today was maths exam , would read the whole E book today.

Every analyst uses his own method of calculation. I don`t use
candlestick charting. So no point of shadow or body. There are
so many ways and none is perfect. But I use Fibonacci retracement
all the time between various levels of resistance and support,
intra-day, short and medium and long term. In fact FIBO numbers
are heart and soul of ELLIOTT WAVE PRINCIPLE

A small clarification. Do you apply the Fibonacci retracement to the body of a candle or the shadows ? In my view, its better to consider the shadows.

Dear honestytrack,
It is purely upto mutual fund buyer when to sell and when to
switch. Fund manager cannot do anything to stop the NAV from
falling. They have no authority to switch on their own will.
I had been posting messages here since january 2008 that I see
a serious market crash and Nifty may fall by 40%. Even the name
of the thread above: WILL NIFTY HIT 3600............. started by
me tells the whole story.
Hope I have made myself clear.

Well that is not my Problem. Well i did invest in a good MF and got my dividends for so many years and the Nav i never bothered because i recovered better than any other investment by the dividends.
even if the nav becomes zero i may not worry there.
Aprt from me thos who invested in cumulative schemes lost their trousers. Dear friend i dont think any one saw this calamity thru.
If the educated iim`s ca`s cpa`s cfa`s failed where is a simple MF investor who doesn`t know how to handle the situation.
The MF`s could have shuffled their portfolio in small quantities by buying selling during the fall and increasing the quantity of their holdings and retaining the values. I dont think that is anything wrong. Probably that is the job of Asset management fees that they charge from you on a continuous basis.
Probably no body questioned their functioning. may be they too did n`t expect this type of fall.
but whatever said they have failed the millions of investors thru thousands of crores.

Operators who do NOT respect the MARKETS also go for a TOSS!
There have been PLENTY of CASES in the past!
As mentioned before, Genuine LTI should stay AWAY from the market for time being! Market has again become a SELLER TYPE market!
Be cautious and careful!
