Dear HLN,
This is my first post to you ever.
I have read many of your posts so far.What you have predicted so many months back has come exactly true today. You definitely deserve utmost praise for this prediction.Please accept my heartfelt congratulations. I can say you know your TA and EWT theory quite well.I suggest you to predict only indices levels in future with very very broad time indications ( + or - three to six months )and not commit on the exact time frame which is most difficult to predict as everyone knows.However even this cannot deflect anything away from the credit you richly deserve. I always feel we have to give credit where it is due and between you & Kalidas , MMB has been served well in the last one year.
Coming to the future , please keep up the good work and give us your broad view on when you expect the U turn in the markets.
Personally I have been investing continously since Oct / Nov 2007 and continue to buy even now. By nature and reasoning , I am a very LT investor who normally holds shares for 3 + years at the minimum.
To be frank I have managed to get a tremendous CAGR in the last ten years ( way way out of normal expectations) by asset swapping across asset classes and sectoral rotations inside the stock markets , long term front running in FII investible sectors.Even as a LT investor , I feel that picking shares at lower index levels can be definitely helpful as this will increase the volume of purchase as well giving a better of margin of safety in price.
I still believe sensex 22000 levels are possible in second half of 2009 and even started a thread to that effect sometime back.Your take will be useful.

BullSheetRules,some one here said that fiis is selling to hoard $. few months back $ was at risk of losing global currency on continuous loss and now fiis are hoarding, rs has breached very level with ease, half century mark will be next.

Unless there are enough retail/MF buyers here in India to absorb full deliveries of FII at current market rates, weakness of the market will continue. Right, sentiment continus to be poor.

Using some common sense, Even I have been expecting that!

Thank you novice1000 for carifications!

Only thing I see in this GAME is that most FIIs manage to reduce their losses! Instead of doing PANIC SALES by thos FIIS (signs of Capitulations for those FIIs, not for Indian investors), I do not see any other way to make a COMPELTE exit from Indian market! :) :)

For those BS FIIs, Defty inex is already close to 53%. So I would find it strange if those FIIs do not go for Dirt Cheap Selling without makiing any losses!

Let us hope that those BIG PLAYers continue to PLAY the GAME sensibly.

China`s benchmark CSI 300 Index slid 5.1 percent, its biggest one-day decline since August. Indonesia and Saudi Arabia lost the most in at least six years. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index slumped 11 percent, the biggest intraday loss since 1987 when Bloomberg records began.

dear BSR,

Most of the FIIs havent made any money in Indian markets except those who entered some 4 or 5 years back.

One should keep in mind that, many hedge funds who entered in the last fiscal might have lost more money than the retail lot. In fact retail investors are sitting on notional losses where as many FIIs have realized the losses by selling stocks at very low levels compared to their buying price.

Whatyou are speaking dear.Silverline,Arvindmils,tatasteel all were the stocks you gave a call to buy and see today all these stocks are 50-70percent down from your level.Only Shankarsharma,Ramesh damani practised aid what they said publically.Do any retail investors have any money to buy now?Any one can give cal like you without any accountability factor.Operators are short and not long .Elections does not always leads to Teji.HAve guts to say ,I gave wrong call and sorry to all the investors who are suffering because of me.

Dear kentmss

Nifty was at 1000 in 2003 and we are back to Dec 2006 levels. We have given two years of gains in just 10 months and still the poison is not out the system.
This is the worst problem of the decade and may not easily move out of the way. We have witnessed 50% of value eroded in some big stocks like sterlite in just one month. Hoarding of dollar is just saying very different story which might unfold soon.

Hi fmcgbites... seems that Mr. HLN is the captain of the Ship with Many innocent investors onboard. His ship will sink to the bottom of blue see, even when there is no storm, just because of his wierd so called techincal analysis, and will take full toll on the innocent investors listening and subscribing to his paid services. He is always seem beating his own drum for predicting levels correct, which actually he predicts to be in month of January and gradually keeps movinf the timeframe as the market progresses. Somewhere in no mans land, his levels are reached in last quarter of year ( which are anyways supposed to come ), he will come out with his drum. God save those who are doomed by this person.

It looks like that nifty will touch 3150-3000 level, if it breaks 3400 level. Smart pullback rally is on the card at any time from now. For upside nifty has to cross 3750-3900 level. Sensex has a very good support at 11500-11300. If it breaks 11300 level, it can go down to 10300-9800 level. The sentiment has been not so good bcoz of USA financial crisis. There is nothing wrong with India.
