Tata Sponge Iron Ltd. has informed the Exchange regarding the changes in the Board of Directors of the company :(1.) At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on July 14, 2008, Dr. Amit Chatterjee, a Non-executive Director of the company, retired by rotation.(2.) Mr. Sudhir Deoras, a Non-executive Director of the Company, relinquished his office as Director of the company w. e. f. July 15, 2008.(3). Mr. S. P. Mehrotra was appointed on the Board as Additional Director w.e.f. August 08, 2008. He is a Non-executive and Independent Director. As on date, the Board consists of 10 members, out of which 5 members are Non-executive and Independent.
