I really feel bitter the way MMS n Congress goverment has gone about this whole issue. I feel bad about how surreptitiously this whole deal has been made out, keeping the entire nation in dark.
I really feel ashamed to see a guy of MMS stature to utter lie after lie blatanly in the parliament just for the sake of saving his own image leaving the integrity of the nation in shambles in the process.

This Act of MMS has put off the last left over hope of an educated Indian to see a politician who is true to nation of 1.1 billion.

These kind of surprises is what makes the markets really interesting provided we are in favorable side of the wind. I still have no clue as to why it outperformed the bullest of the targets .. that too intraday
Really speaking I have no tenacity to say what will be the next move by the markets.. I am just going to watch out.

What is the lot size of Nifty Options..is it 50???
Your technical call on HDIL a couple of days was proven correct..fell short of 340 by a mere 15 rupees.
I really cant believe markets bounced to 4500 from 4200 levels in a span of 3 days. Its really astonishing..taken by surprise totally.
some sort panic buying..who knows the reason for this...strange are the market ways.

I still remeber what happened to unitec post bonus[or is it stock split] an year back...
but stocks like HDIL, or IFCI , RNRL looses lustre it gives many a heart break to traders.. I think right now there is no trading stock to claim the crown HDIL lost...isnt it

Thanks for giving your valuable inputs..what about our erstwhile HDIL..Today when nifty moved from 4280 to 4335..it move from 278 to 279...lol and when nifty move further to 4365 it move to 280.. It was such a sad show by a stock which not long ago used to swing 50 rupees a day regularly.

Rally on tuesday was overdone. Market should broadly remain sideways between 4200-4600. Thursday can see a fall esp with NSG jitters, Asian/Europian markets falling continously, US rally fizzling out (relating to collapse of a hedge fund)....

Yes, the nifty option lot size is 50, I was totally surprised that a 5 dollar cut in crude prices srung up the markets so much! when i came back and checked the markets at 3, i was flattened out... Lets see how things shape up from now :) Regards...

On a short term basis; the max we can go is to 16,250 after which the downtrend will recommence. India are now well into stagflation; a period where growth is slower than inflation. Real interest rates are negative. Can a multiple contraction be expected? In such an environment, can we expect healthcare & staples to outperform? On early indications of a reversal of stagflation can one expect financial sector, commodities and rate sensitives to outperform. Why is it that oil is not following economic principals of demand and supply - theoretically equilibrium should be achieved when marginal revenue equals marginal cost (i.e. approx $50=MC). OPEC is converting a perfect market to an oligopoly; but even so, prices at over double of MC are irrational. It looks like peak oil is being priced because then MC can be expected to shoot through the roof; but we are still far from peak oil. MC at $50 can be expected to elevate somewhat because the areas (ultra deepwater, oil sands, shale) of extraction are getting more challenging; yet I feel there is considerable scope for MC to fall because oilfield services pricing ability should suffer as demand contracts (even a small contraction in demand will have disproportionate impact on pricing). I think in Q4 08 India hits 9500-10000 range on Sensex with opportunities coming mainly from trading sectors. ...

Did you watched HDIL today? infact the whole markets! I was surprised and astonished :) had 5 lots of 4300 PE at 150 which has come down to meare 60! Bad day for shorters and PUT option holders Regards :)...

There are.. Watch RIL closely... it swings + & - 1.5% in a day! Kotak bank Axis bank Bharthi airtel some few which i see are excellent stock to trade with,Though they are very costly but if sure of the move, these stocks can assure a return of 1.5 - 2% in intraday. Regards ...

Hdil seems to make a new low from here, it has lost its lustre! usually a stock does after bonus issues, it will be a hot stock after december! regards...
