i do not agree with you the points you made it as our exchange system is efficient and broker will come to know the real position when the settlement is over and as such broker is not supposed to keep client s shares in his account as per sebi guidelines however pool account system i do not favour and it always confuse and broker takes the undue advantage and as a banker or broker attached to exchanges must answer properly and he cannot give any excuse .sorry i do not agree for lapses if any broker makes for our hard earned money....

as per exchanges settlement cycle whatever purchases are made on 29th and 30 sept credit of shares will be made on 3rd oct and it is a full proof arrangement no one can deny about it however by chance if short delivery comes then in this case closeout method is to be followed so you will get back entire money with some addtional money due to closeout exchanges transfer shares to broker account and borker transfers shares to client s account on the same day if payment is made for the same however in your case shares may be lying in their account and they are telling lie about the same sometimes broker says that you are eligible for bonus but due to time factor we will you this shares with bonus shares generally this of system is followed in both the exchanges do not panic if you do not get you can fight out in many ways with the help of exchange sebi etc....

exchanges will delist on 22nd october however exit option will be there for next 6 months at rs 140....

if you have got open offer form please let me know the followings.dp name dpid,client id and benefeceiry name as it is required for transfer shares off market for tenderuing shares in open offer.thanks....

sebi introduced ASBA process for right issues and public issues recently but i understand that it is only for big cities and it is introduce to very limited banks so sebi must give proper publicity to encourage the investors to take advantage of new system....

sebi made big announcement for this process for ipo and tata motors right issue but when i checked with icici bank in rajkot they told me that it is available in big cities only and there are so many other hide loopholes which will come in light in coming days asba process must be available to all cities to make it popular....

Once the amount is paid and the money for the share is recovered from the account of the share holder then the process is on. The particular share will be under transit. The company collects all information and issue share. These bonus shares will be in the pool account. There may be thousands of shares in the pool account. The concerned broker in this particular case ICICIDIRECT has to sort this out and issue the bonus shares to the individuals. Here ICICIDIRECT is the broker cum Banker for the share holders. Regarding ICICIDIRECT all the calls made to them in this regard might not have been answered by the Bank officials. Most of these banks outsource such services and person sitting on the desk may not be that competent to answer these questions. The bonus issue will be known very soon and if there is discrepancies can be taken up even at later stages. It is simple. If you have 100 shares as on 29/30th September after bonus you will get another 100 total to 200 numbers of Rupees 2 valued shares. Do you have any more confusion? Tunga ...

Thankyou so much arjun. I know they cant refuse me my shares but what just made me anxious was a call by ICICI that since i bought shares on 29 Sep I wont get bonus. I will definitely move to sebi or exchanges even more if needed. Thanks for your help. I wont have panic if I was well just I had an accident and was hospitalised and came home last month so I was worried if needed for me to move out for my right I cant as I am bed ridden till at least next march 2009. yea true this is what i told ICICI people but they are still being dumb say as 30 sep is a bank holiday and shares will only credit on 4th and not 3rd ..what is legal stand i can take if they dont allot me shares..thanks in advance. regards...

Every one is using the word bonus , but in fact it is split not bonus , so your value is the same , only thing is that your share count increases ....

But if u buy today at 98/- and then it continues to fall thereafter and when will you sell and at what price....
