How can GMR Infra is below issue price? It is quoting much above IPO price. IPO was issued at Rs.220/-(approx)for Rs.10 share ie, around Rs.42/- of Rs.2 share. Great profit to IPO allottes even now....

Iam fully agree to SGRSGR.Good to see that this script is above the issue price even in this kind of volatile market, if you notice that most of the issues which came out in 2006 are trading almost half of their issue price, few examples : shobha developers, ruchira papers, blue bird, prasvnath developers,global vectra, jhs svendgaard,fiem industries, hov services, action construction, gmr infrastructure (after split), deccan aviation, unity infraprojects, gangotri textiles, d.s.kulkarni developers, lokesh machines, suntv (after split), r systems international, uttam sugar mills, k seera seera productions, gvk power and infrastructure, inox leisure, jagran prakashan limited, andhra bank, raj rayon, royal orchid, nittin spinners all the above listed in 2006 and currently trading at 50% discount on their issue prices.
Other scripts like vista steel, nitco tiles, jk cement, bank of baroda, also trading much below their issue price,
Accel Frontline Limited now part of BT is well ahead of the issue price and has very strong support at current levels and there are no chances of this going down from its issue price....
The entire market is down so have some more patience to have a decent profit...

This share is purely meant for share holders with a higher degree of patience.Remember only around 10% of its shares are floated around & rest all r with HNIs & BT(51%).Its CMD Mr.N.R.Panicker is a hardcore technocrat & reasonably reliable with a commendable respect from the industry.He has declared in last meeting that the comp. still holds cash& definitely each share worth about Rs100+ considering the futuristic valuations.They charged only Rs75 in their IPO, when they had sanction for Rs100 according to the CMD.For long term holders, it may definitely reward 18%+ returns p.a .
Note:I too hold this scrip....
