Hinduja Foundries Limited has informed the Exchange that: "With the fall in demand for Commercial Vehicles, Tractors and Cars, off-take of castings has come down considerably over the past few weeks. In view of the available inventory coupled with the present power situation, HFL has decided to observe continuous production holidays for 5 days at its Ennore and Sriperumbudur Units, in addition to normal weekly holidays. Also the unit in Hyderabad will work five days a week, instead of six days. These measures are expected to continue till the demand for castings is revived"....
