I feel that the company had a temporary set back.The financials and fundamentals continue to be strong.We rarely get a company having reserves of about 30 times(29.6)the capital.The products of the company are well accepted in the market and are considered to be of good quality.I am sure they make concerted and cosistant efforts to bring better times for share holders.Of course it may be possile gradually.Another 6 months time substantial improvement is possible.I feel we can hold on for one or two quarters....

I agree it may take long time to regain old status.The flop project appears to be bonafide mistake of the management.I feel the concerted and consistant efforts by the management can regain the glory again....

After abandoning the the flop project of converting plastic waste to oil the company is recovering fast.This company has been comanding respect in its field of operation. Its products were considered to be of good quality.Therefore in the coming quarters they will perform well.Fundamentals of the co are good.Reserves are more than 20 times the capital.Therefore those who are holding the stock or those who accumulate at this low price can reap profits later on. ...

Sorry I made mistake while seeing the date.Anyway the statement of the guest stating that 80 lakh shares were sold by promoters is utter lie.There were no bulk deals after April as per the list....

Rohit has extraordinarily good results for year ending mar 2008 and for 1st quarter.It is expected to continue to do so in 2nd quarter also.Therefore there will be rebound in share price substantially.Therefore it is better to hold on upb to 2nd quarter results....

The reserves that you talk about are only on paper. They reflect the value of the stock - unsold, sold and returned, and the capital including capitalized IP rights bought from Zadgaonkar. They have absolutely no cash element as the company is now running hand to mouth and the reserves are only a figment of their imagination. At least now, you should know better than to get carried away by the \\\\...

Operator agent kekanje, use your brain if you have before posting any message and fooling investors. Check promoters holding on 31.12.07 and 30.6.08. compare both figures. You cannot stop facor going dawn to rs 7/=...

The bad thing was that they should have done their homework thoroughly before making a hoopla in the media. I remember on of their directors boasting about tremendous jump in profits, on CNBC, on implementation of these projects. He also had clearly stated that the pilot project was totally succesful and that they have already ventured into taking up projects all round the world!! So much for these cheap publicity. Many investors bought into it thinking that sky was the limit for this alchemist company. I know of a couple of investors who bought in the 500s and are now cursing their stars for having ventured into this company. These investors are spending sleepless nights as even part recovery of their hard earned money remains a distant dream. However much the company may try, it is never again going to get the valuation when the publicity of the plastic waste project was going on. I am reminded of a couple similar companies which had their day under the Sun but soon went into oblivion leaving thousands of investors in the lurch........Western Paques, Western Biosystems, IFSL, Protchem Industries all with waste to wealth ideas!! There was one more cheat called Ramar Pillai from AP who even hoodwinked the IIT scientists into believing that he could produce oil from a plant growing wildly in India. But it was just a matter of time that this guy was exposed!! Investors should be wary of such companies who promise heaven. One should use once mind logically and think if such a project was viable why any big biz house did not buy it earlier and produce oil. Still one can exit this scrip on upsides and enter some fundamentally strong company to atleast part recover the losses. Cheers!!...

Dear kekanje, The company will have to do a lot of PR activity to gain the confidence of the lay investors. By blindly going for the waste plastic project and giving rosy predictions in the media, they have indirectly cheated the investing public who believed in their story and bought the share at high levels. Imagine the fate of an investor who bought at 500 levels and still holding. Regarding the basic biz of the company. This too is undergoing increasing competition as many players have entered the fray of CFL lighting and there is also the threat from low cost dumping by Chinese companies!! It would take a long time for the share to move up!! Cheers!!...

Look at the fate of Facor, market moves up 4% but this stock just doesn't budge either way. What happened to all that 1+ beta for this stock? This is what happens when traders/ operators are away from a scrip. ...

it is not utter lie. but the correct place to look for it is BSE PIT announcements and not moneycontrol bulk deals. Facor Alloy group did sell a huge aamount in open market during Jan peak. But that could be also due to the restructuring and change of management that is going on internally. I am sure facor alloy will go upto atleast 15 around diwali. Which is around 50% returns from current level in 2 months. Not bad. isn't it?...
