Dhunseri Tea & Industries Ltd has informed BSE that at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on September 30, 2008, it has been decided that October 22,2008 has been fixed as the Record Date for ascertaining the members of UNI Stock Private Ltd (USPL) (Transferor Company) to whom equity shares of the Company shall be allotted as per the scheme of amalgamation sanctioned by the Honble High Court at Calcutta by an Order passed on September 03, 2008.
The members of USPL whose names appear on the Register of Members on October 22, 2008 shall be entitled to receive 1 (One) fully paid-up Equity Share of the face value of Rs 10/- each of the Company for every 10 (Ten) fully paid-up Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each held by them in USPL on the Record Date....

Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited has informed the Exchange that the Scheme of Amalgamation of UNI Stock Private Limited with Company has been sanctioned by the Honble High Court at Calcutta by an Order passed on September 03, 2008. The said order has also been filed with the Registrar of Companies. Further at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on September 30, 2008 it has been decided that October 22, 2008 shall be the Record Date for the purpose of determining the eligibility of the shareholders of UNI Stock Private Limited (Transferor company), to whom shares of the Company will be allotted as per the Scheme.
