Ramco Industries net profit rises 29.57% in the September 2008 quarter.

It is heartening to note that the comapny has folloed the traditional way of declaring the first interim dividend of 50 % (Rs.5/- pershare of Rs.10/-each) with the record date as 31-10-08. It would have been helpful, had they given the half-yearly reports for the performance of the comapny to get an insight of the workings during this circumstances of the stock market.

Such a disciplined company is not helpfull the shareholders.

Ramco Industries Ltd has informed the Exchange that at the Meeting of the Board of Directors held on October 23, 2008, Shri R. S. Agarwal has been co-opted as Additional Director with effect from October 23, 2008. Further the Company inform that Shri R. S. Agarwal is an Independent Director and the Board has nominated him to the Audit committee also....

Ramco Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 23, 2008, Shri. R S Agarwal has been co-opted as Additional Director with effect from October 23, 2008.

Further the Company has informed that, Shri. R S Agarwal is an Independent Director and the Board has nominated him to the Audit committee also. Hence with the appointment of Shri. R S Agarwal, Independent Director on the Board and with his nomination to the Audit Committee....
