18k on radar; dollar strength adds appeal

Hurricane Gustav missed the North American oil wells but created a mini-tsunami in Indian shores as the Sensex had its best day since the Singh government’s trust vote win 5 weeks ago.

The twin factors of falling crude and stronger dollar is making Indian equities attractive fundamentally and from the currency arbitrage point of view.

Nuk deal is a positive,not necessary to sell this stock if investors are long term based.... undertone becomes strong afer the NSG deal.......

Dollar is at 44.9 levels and on its way to 46-47+ levels.

As dollar is at 43.5, TCS can achieve 35 percent growth this year. EPS for TCS will be Rs 67 to Rs 69. PE rerating to 30 after a few quarterly results will shoot the price to Rs 2100 levels.
