With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 20, 2008, Tata Motors Ltd has informed BSE that the Company would determine detailed terms of the proposed Rights Issue of Ordinary Shares and A Ordinary Shares aggregating upto Rs 4,200 crores, including the issue price on September 02, 2008....

hi Nazgul,
I agree and appreciate your view on Tata Motors. Multi baggers are a great great breed of companies and that you must stay invested over the long term for multi baggers.
But one thing abt investment is even multibaggers provide short term long and short opportunities as well. As there are many types of investors its pertinent that investment calls be given to each type appropriately. As I have found a timing call on Tata motors after a very very long time I had given this call.
I am a great fan of Tatamotors and wish to go long on it forever. But unfortunately the charts werent guiding me so for quite a long time . As I saw an Initial reversal I had jumped at it which I waited for so long. I agree its a great time to start pyramiding your Tatamotors holding. I too agree that Tatamotors is a multibagger in waiting.

singur may be boiling but believe me tata guys will find a place to make theier nano....and believing what i see and hear...nano is a people's car and sure to be a smash hit.....
Fyrther by a year or two number sfrom jaguar and land rover will also be coming in....

I agree if Tatas will have to shift to some other State, it will be very bad for WB and especially for Ms Mamta Banerjee. But apparently, it looks she will stick to her stand and it is difficult to find out a solution agreeable to all. I know her since long. Let us hope for the best.
In case of other options available to Tatas, it would be definitely at a cost to the company. ...

you are right, the company may face some hurdles, but Tata has many options, in fact red carpets! available for tata nano plant. The nano launch may get little delayed, but once Nano is on the road, the share price is going to zoom.
Personally I feel that India as a whole and specifically WB, will try hard to retain the tata nano plant in the Singur only, otherwise WB will have to be ready for worse results in terms of industrial growth.

In view of likely problems at its forthcoming Nano Plant at Singur, better to stay away from this share now.
