Every time the bull markets crashed...we had great fundamental experts...predict that over the long term things will get right.

For all accounting purposes we take any investment to be of long term nature if our tenure is greater than 1 year. Therefore any suggestion that investors be invested for the long term should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Long term means what?...This should be answered by people who prophesize that the markets are bound to pay what u paid for it.

Dont get lied by Long term liers...Be smart to take cognisance of each day`s happening in the market...for there lies wisdom.

Looking at the way a good intentioned industrialist got treated by Mamata Bannerjee for the past 2 years...I would believe that the ploy by Mamta Bannerjee doing all her best to see that the wellwisher of
West Bengal ...Ratan Tata walk out with such harrowing experiences ..makes me bet that this was her way of revenging the Bengalis who have not voted her...What dirty politics has she played....

It was too painful for me to watch the announcement by Shri Ratan Tata about the pullout from Singur...

1.What a colossal waste of Money and Time?

2.What a ruthless smashing of Bengali dreams?

3.How proud would West Bengal have been had the revolution of low cost cars got taken of from the sacred Land of Ganga Matha?

A great gift to a person who believed Bengalis and the Bengal Government.

My doubt is ..Is Mamta Banerjee a Bengali?

As usual as Bush Administration lied regarding WMD in Iraq, 123 Deal of India ( See the amendments proposed by the Senate towards the deal which infact totally cripples India's autonomy in every thing),its now the turn for fraudulent assurances that the US economy could be repaired with the bail out...which I am much convinced is here for a doom.

Indian tax payers money bails out American Party Animals and the PM says Indians love Bush. Now I am convinced how true was PM when he made assurances in the Parliament regarding our strategic autonomy....

Looks like its very very likely to breach 3800 and fall beyond. I Would even contemplate being 100% on cash. Just as a fellow boarder had dreamt even breach of 3600 very soon looks quite likely.

Isnt it time that India rebalanced its forex equation with limited USD reserves holding. Now with most of forex reserves held at USD isnt it a callous disregard of Indian Citizen's welfare...With USA running fast towards bankruptcy...why should India risk its common mans money by holding a major portion of its forex reserve in USD.

Why should the disciplined Indian pay for the Americans partying.......

Hi True... Markets reaching near towards my pessimistic target... I feel there could be a small bounce from here due to the positive news flow from domestic and if Infy`s Guidance gives some hope then short covering will trigger a small rally.... Good time to start looking for investments instead of trading in this uncertain periods... ...

Hi Truecharts... I agree with you and feel the same(Sell on Rallies).... Whatever technically speaking is a Trap... Like Dragonfly Doji... Which is gonna make Big reversal.... :) The Positive thing is Reliance and it's Production... But there are lot of Negatives coming in... World Heavy weights which were talking about raising capital few months before are now standing in Queue to help them survive... With that case... I'll revise my target of pessimism in medium term... But for Long term, We are gonna rise for sure... Sticking to the Large cap is better as they can survive good during the crash and can show a good comeback... FED has just provided life jacket for the drowning heavyweights... Bcoz if they have not done that... Then spiral effect may take the global market to a halt... We need to liquidate as much as we can... and stay in cash of 70% atleast... That is good for us.... There is no turn around in anything.... Still the Bad has not even got Better :).... Our Deficit will come into picture to make another round of panic if possible... There is another big issue regarding conversion... Which not got enough lights even... The only hope is Americans and our Country got the election coming very close... Which will make them to provide maximum support for the financial Market.... :) ...

I guess this depends on what currancy India buys its imports in and what currancy Indian exports earn. Most of these transactions would be in US$. The banks would not want to churn their portfolio to avoid conversion costs, would prefer to have USD accounts. If oil starts being traded in Euro, we may see a big shift of countries carrying Euro balances. Perhaps this may trigger another big fall in USD value. Regards...

Agree, today and tomorrow biggest trap for bears... selling 4000 PE now would be beneficial u think. It makes sense to sell hyped premiums otherwise better to buy calls....
