When the situation normalizes, you will be a fool to know the actual buyers of RPL shares in these markets. It may be one of your neighbours accumulating RPL at these levels.

RPL is a six bagger; wait till it reaches Rs 1000.

Patience may be tested but your conviction will be rewarded.

It`s okay to feel the fear.

But it`s not okay to react to it.

Panicking and making big changes in your accounts is likely to do a heck of a lot more damage than a recession ever could.

Based on valuations and the current economy,
I would stick my neck out and say I would buy the index now and

I am pretty confident that in at least six months to one year you will definitely get at least a 90% upside. ...

Everyone will be impacted now as this is a very serious global horror show. The world economy led by US has sunk into a recession. We`re in the middle of a very dark tunnel. cracks are quickly adding up.

DOW went below 9000. You will see SENSEX below 10,000 very soon. Dow falls more than 660 points to trade below 9,000 in late afternoon sell-of.

The selloff came as Standard & Poor`s Ratings Services put GM and its finance affiliate GMAC LLC under review to see if its rating should be cut. GM has been struggling with weak car sales in North America.

The action means there is a 50 percent chance that S&P will lower GM`s and GMAC`s ratings in the next three months.

General Motors Corp. led the Dow lower, falling about 30 percent.

We are at crucial junction where we can expect a strong bounce say about 10-15% right now we are not getting any cues for that bounce but will surely come today or tomorrow. So, better to square-off all your short positions and take some long positions with very stiff stop loss. Either Infosys may give positive surprise on Friday or Inflation may surprise you or govt may come with some policy changes like ban on shorting etc.,
Definitely markets will surprise you on the positive side in the upcoming two days.
1. globally markets are in oversold conditions
2. Some good news can force the bears to cover their shorts which will push the indices to a sudden sharp rally
3. Yesterday some cues that some consolidation was coming at the lower levels
4. Government may interfere at home to give a breathe to the markets
5. FIIs are the net buyers in FnO yesterday.
6. EU came with massive 200bn$ rescue package
All the best
Advance cheers
With thanks

Be and Make-Besides IT and Infra, which sectors do you like after this Bear Run is over and out!! ...

In reply to:

Cues from FnO: Short term bounce?

Posted by : Be and Make

Dear chief – Now it is not the time for RPL/RIL world vide we are having a very big CRISIS. This will hugely affect to the demand to the crude, and thus affect the refining margins. Recent global oil analysts came with research reports that refining margins are at 15 year low and will dip further in Q3 which is very very painful report to the oil refineries.
Rate cut move by RBI, definitely a good move for corporate people but a late move I can say markets already in a panic mode. In this situation good news at home may not able to lift the sentiment, good news should come from the globe.
So, re-construct your portfolio in my view IT, infra may not do wonder in the upcoming years as they are the out-performers in past couple of years.
Do you believe our nifty going to touch 2515 level! I believe strongly believing strongly.
With thanks

Dear chief – why you are thinking about the RPL I am not saying about the RPL. I am saying about the refining companies globally. In Singapore GRM margins at 5-7 % which are 15 year low and all the valuations made for RIL and RPL is around 13-17. RIL is some what better than RPL right now due to the diversification of its business in Petrochemicals, E&P and refining.

dear kamani sir...when the present star reliance is projected at sub 1000 levels, all emerging stars will have to wait for their turn.
No point producing oil left and right when there are no buyers.rpl will have to wait for its turn.rpl definitele is a wealth generator, but there is no point rearing chicken in a world where 100% of the poppulation are vegetarians.
my luck to all

Dear here2stay – Thanks for the reply, I think you will be the one of the successful person even in these panic conditions. All the best for you predictions, but I wish to ask you about the levels where the trend reversal might happen and what are the triggers for that trend reversal.
At what level of nifty we will have the support?

dear be and make sorry for the delay.any short covering rally will start only if we close above 3350 today and high resistance at 3740 band, atleast thats what the charts indicate as of now.Since january when the top was made its never been prudent to go long but to short from highs.
Right now all my positional shorts are closed.
We do have lots to cheer though as the next bull run from the bottoms(proportional to your rpl target) will be a wealth generator never witnessed in Indian history.:-))

The selling continues on Wall Street, with investors again dumping stocks in early trading. The Dow Jones industrials, already down 2,271 points in seven sessions, are down more than 200 after dropping as much as 696.

The DOW was down to 10% in the early morning today & is trying to recover from the intial losses right now.

Why this one only. I relished most of yr msgs. While it is a fact that I read very few msgs only, but if I see yr msg, I must read it. I cannot shift to next msg unless I read yr msg. Really great.
In this weak market, Mang. Timber stands no chance, sorry to say.
Now we will find many shares 3-4-5 years low under the present market conditions, reason being nobody would like to make fresh investment and if anybody is in need of money urgently, he has no other option but to sell it at any price he gets it. That usually happens in the last leg of bear period. Since last few years market has been very good and it has been going up every year, hence this prolonged bearishness in the market will be painful, no doubt about it....
