Solectron Ems India Limited has informed the Exchange that pursuant to the provisions of section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956 read with the Companies (Passing of Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2001 to transact the following special resolution by the members by passing the resolution through Postal Ballot. 1) Change of the name of the Company. The Company has appointed Mr.S.P Nagarajan, Practicing Company Secretary as Scrutinizer for the purpose of Postal Ballot exercise. Duly completed Postal Ballot form should reach to Scrutinizer not later than the close of working hours on December 27, 2008. The result of the Postal Ballot shall be announced by the Managing director and / or Company secretary on December 30, 2008.
