There was a block deal of 1 crore Idea Cellular shares on BSE at Rs 67.45 per share, reports CNBC-TV18.

In response to your comment, I have checked the website of BSE and have not found the relevant details of block deal during the period 01.10.2008 to 07.10.2008. Please inform the date of deal or else provide the details...

Idea Cellular has touched a 52-week low of Rs 66.50. At 11:19 am, the share was quoting at Rs 68.50, down Rs 0.85, or 1.23%. It was trading with volumes of 10,838,107 shares. There was a block deal of 1 crore Idea Cellular shares on BSE at Rs 67.45 per share.

Highly unlikely this stock will perform well. Competition in GSM is hotting up..RCOM and new operators. Plus IDEA has a pure voice model...no data services ....Major expansion currently underway....very littly chance of any P&L visibility....

Expected net profit is Rs.325/- crores.

Though its fundamentally good story, Idea Cellular may go in the range of Rs.55/- to Rs.59.50/- in short term. For extreme long term one should invest at those levels.

Take the best decisions....

Idea Cellular is among major losers on the Nifty. It has touched a 52-week low of Rs 68.70. At 3:54 pm, the share was quoting at Rs 69.30, down Rs 8.65, or 11.1%. It was trading with volumes of 3,176,331 shares. On Friday the share closed down 1.76% or Rs 1.40 at Rs 77.95.

Yes, there may be a blood bath today....never mind, we all investors have already lost 70% value of our stocks but selling at this juncture in panic would certainly keep you out of your future.....out of market. so dear collegues....dont ever think to sell yr holding.....it will rebound from 3600/3300 and that is very sure...trust in our economy and think the US bailout amount of 700 billions. The FII\\`s have invested 6 billion in Indian market but they are dictating our market...if we get 5% of that amount in our growing market...what would be then....the market may touch the sky and sensex may be near to 35000....so dont panic and be quite...watch the drama which is not going to last longer and sure we will get back our hard earned money. Think it seriously, be silent and do nothing...only watch silently….this is the mantras of this hour....
