sotd you are pain in ass to investors, people get more unconfortable with your messages than the bears you are such a pessimist you doubt even you family members everyday i guess. you play with peoples emotions on this board i hate to read such messages, adding to the misery Paddy is behaving in such a unfriendly manner towards investors that almost all of them are broke. shame for the promoters.
I too agree its not singham its not even cat its purely asingham.
Good Morning..!

Congrats to you balusir. BOD is a technical term used in effluent treatment - Biological Oxygen Demand. With you very active in the MMB, one could say 'balusir on demand'.

nuclear clearance a fillip for teledata

Opening up of barriers for trade in materials, components etc for nuclear power stations is a two way effect. First it brings in competition from international players to those who had a monopoly run in the nuclear indusrty so far. It also opens the doors for the more eficient omong them to now start supplying components and undertak instalation and commissioning works in the nuclear programs of other countries.
With this in mind I just tried to recall the current players in the Indian nuclear inductry and have come up with this tentative list:
Larsen & Toubro (L&T)
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)
Walchandnagar Industries Limited (WIL)
Bharat Heavy Plates and Vessels
Godrej & Boyce manufacturing Co. Ltd
Richardson & Crudas
G.R.Engineering
Cooper Engineering works, a unit of Walchand Hirachand Group
Kirloskar Brothers Ltd.
MGM Industries
AS Engineering
Eastern Engineering Corporation
Agro Engineers
Lokesh Machines
Variety Engineers
Gansons
Lloyd steel
Vividh High Fab
Anup Engineering
Bharat Pumps and Compressors Ltd
Kirloskar Brothers
Mather and Platt
Jyoti Limited
KSB pumps
Audco division of L&T,
Fouress Ltd.
Instrumentation Ltd.
Bharat Heavy Plates & Vessels
Alpha Laval
IDMC Ltd
GEA Energy systems
Siemens
Cromption & Greeves
NGEF
TELK
Kirloskar Electric
Alsthom etc.
Mishra Dhatu Nigam
Mahindra Ugine Steel Co.
Kalyani Steels
Vishveshvaraiyya Iron and Steel
Bharat Forge
Fomas
MGM
Maharashtra Seamless
Ratnamani
Surya Roshni
SAIL
TISCO
Jindal
It might be useful to discus the impact on these companies. Of course it will take at least two years for any real ripple effect to come through. But the markets run on perceptions and not necessarily the shop floor realities.

as it will result in growth of nuclear power plants and teledata being supplier of power plant software (im sure td must have adapted it to nuclear power plants ) along with customer billing etc will definitely get a boost.
Delay in marine cos agm gives me confidence that co intends to list marine before agm.
seeing trading on friday im confident that breakout is very near if not very very near

But what about the Medha Patkar or Arundhathi Roy equivalents in the anti nuclear plant squad, the local agitators who belive in the NIMBY doctrine and the demonstrators who refuse to allow mining for Uranium. These are not going to solved simply having foreign suppliers replace indigenous manufacturers. You'll probably also import international green peace activists, thanks to the waiver.

PS: NIMBY stands for (Q)not in my back yard(UQ)....

Moron,
We seem to be plying the same strategy here. I offloaded Aftek at 67Rs and swapped to TD but TD has not galloped much to cry about.Nonetheless I could buy back Aftek a clean 34Rs lower and stash the rest of the profits into TD.
This time was tempted to offload aftek during the recent rally and again bank Rs10 of Profits but desisted. There is no end to greed.
cheers

What does your gut feel say? Nothing has changed here. I continue to add whenever dividends and funds permit.
