this stock will have an upward bias on Monday as markets will rally.see NSE rally 100 points & BSE 400 ODD.good buy at these levels. frm trading prespective but might fall more in the near term....

Frankly speaking, no one can predict what will be the price after six months. But one thing is sure that company is doing good and most heartening to know is that promoters are gobbling shares from the market with price rage of 39 & 40.
Further to stock market: There are no bad news foreseen in short term. Election will be held in May 2009 as scheduled, No matter whether congress or BJP comes to power market will cheer for both. International crude prices have corrected, So in short if everything is well market will respond in positive way.
Telecom is one sector which is growing by leaps and bound, there was an article in yesterdays Times Of India (Mumbai edition) that by 2015 every second India will be having a mobile connection, what does this means..any ones guess....lets wait for the company to implement its decisions and reap the benefits. some wise man has said PATIONS PAYS... ...

One should enter essar oil in the range of 175 to 180 only, because OIL might not be going up, !!!
But If one takes 6 months view they can start building up at around 180 levels, for a 245 target....

essar oil charts looking better. The sell volumes were nothing to write about since the first week of Agusst. A good opportunity to enter the stock around 200 if one can catch it.

Essar Exploration and Production Ltd – a wholly owned subsidiary of Essar Oil – may bid for more oil and gas blocks in Australia during the forthcoming bidding round later this year.
The bidding round is expected to be opened after the award of the last round, opened earlier this year, is announced. Essar E&P bid for 100 per cent interest in two shallow-water offshore blocks in Australia during the last round.
“We will explore the bidding opportunities during the next round expected to be opened in a couple of months,” a company official told Business Line adding that they were expecting the award of the last round to be announced in a couple of weeks.
Essar group currently holds exploratory interest in a number of assets in India and overseas.
Abroad, the company was recently awarded exploration rights in one offshore block in Vietnam. This apart it has operating interests in one onshore and one offshore block in Myanmar; three blocks in Madagascar and one block in Nigeria.
In India the company has one offshore (Ratna-R) and four onshore assets. Of the onshore assets, the Mehsana block (CB-ON/3) in Gujarat is in development and production stage and the rest three, located in Assam, are in various stages of exploration.
Essar also owns 100 per cent interest in the Raniguju CBM block in West Bengal. The company has already completed the exploratory (core hole) drilling in the block and is currently drilling 15 test test (production) wells in the block for a realistic assessment of the production potential.

Essar oil is a very good trading stock.......good for long term huge returns if you have patience......It shall not go down immediately as you wanna buy it at 200 levels.. but itz usually the case with this stock as no one can predict when it shall go up or down but to a huge higher percentage either ways....

True .. it is speculative. Probably it may see 200 intraday tomorrow. For the last 4 trading days the volumes were very low. There was an apparent selling. Not a deep one. Once again it may raise its hood.
Oil sector stocks are not going to do well in coming weeks. But Essar stands out and may outperform. One can enter around 200 levels safely ... atthemost it may see a downside of 180 but doubtful.
Idont hold the stock at present. May buy a small quantity tomorrow.

Intraday traders and other F&O traders are playing with this stock .... it's a highly speculative stock .... it can give u good gains sometimes but it can crash anytime !!!
