Hello Mr. libran.
As per your letter the shares are purchased on 29Th September and the rate was for pre bonus this was even until 30Th September 2008. ICICI DIRECT collected money from your account for 200nos of L&T shares at Rs 2340 each plus Brokerage, service charges etc....
Now you might have 200 nos of shares in your Demat account. Did you observe when this is credited to your account? 29Th being Monday and 3rd October is 4Th working day (excluding October 2 national holiday) and also Friday your account must have been credited with 200 shares.
I have seen sometimes these ICICI DIRECT never credit the shares on time to the account. Recently I purchased some L&T shares. I could see the shares in security projections for some time but one day it just disappeared and could not find in Demat account, under allocations, even in Security projection .The Cash projections was squared up. I found these shares under allocation after 2 days.
They don`t respond properly. They respond only for written complaint.
I think you are eligible and also should get the bonus shares to your account when it is allotted by the company. Please wait till 14Th October and then take action if it is not credited. I understand the shares are going to be credited on 13Th Monday.
Please keep all your documents for further action in case it is not credited.

Hello! My fellow learned boarders. Although, I did had a communication with marketman in the morning about if I would get bonus shares are not and marketman here on the board did confirm me yes, but before quering on this board I had called ICICI Direct and talked with an executive there, since he was also not sure he said he will get to me and I got a call later from manager of ICICI Direct Hyderabad team(bankers), that I wont be getting shares as shares will finally show in my demat account on o4 October. It started like this I bought 200 Larsen share on 29 sep at about 2340 per share. I was totally ignorant about it being ex bonus today, yesterday being bank settlement holiday share would show in my account on o4 october instead of 3rd october because one extra day in between as banks were closed. Now I am so distresed as to why ICICI says I wont get bonus shares. Isnt it that if transaction has been done before ex bonus date sufficent to prove you hold the shares? Why are people of ICICI bank saying that since shares would show in my account on 04 october and record date is 3rd october I will not get any bonus shares, does this mean a straight loss of 2.4 lac... please give your sensible advice as I am in panic..help me please... warm regards and thanks in advance

Dear Sir ..Patience is the key at the moment .. You have paid at the rate of cum bonus value you will get shares accordingly..It may take a little time .. Now even the bonus shares are not credited to anybodys account. so do not worry. you will get ur shares .

Dear Libran,
I talked with my broker, they given me possitive reply, fellows telling the bonus share will take almost 30-45 days to be credited in my A/c, hope atleast market will recover.

Hi prashant, thanks for your concern. I have not yet recieved my bonus shares, I just want to ask other share holders if bonus shares have been credited to there accounts or not... warm regards and god bless everyone.

As per the company, bonus shares will be credited by 13th of oct midnight. you can watch and wait, its a strongest fundamental companies in the world, much better than reliance, so accumulate on every dip.

Not really, `coz those who wanted to sell must have already SOLD their original shares after the RECORD DATE. As it is I never sell cash, I just SHORT futures, and book profit as and when available !...

1. Half of my COVERING SHORTS are maintained till the STOP LOSS, 5% above the SHORT LEVEL, and profit is booked on the remaining half (when profit is at least 15-25%).
2. If the counter declines to 50% of my cash procurement level (original), I go long on at least half the number of shares in FUTURES ... this further down-averages my original procurements and makes my RUNNING SHORTS all the more effective and profitable.
3. My new LONG positions are LIMITED to what I state in point 2 above. ...

Do u think you will book profits in ur shorts or you will carry it? I am planning to buy nifty call optoins today coz TRIN is neutral at 0.7 and our sensex says BUY per RSI...

Yup, seems like HEAVY gap-down opening today again ! Be careful, let us put on hold any BIG play. Do not execute any transaction with more than just ONE lot. Go long on that lot and book whatever reasonable profit you can ... just hold it if it happens to tank further ! Regards, DU.

Hi baluincorp, tomorrow`s opening is seemingly heading towards gap-down. That`s good. That means Larsen is gonna open below 970 perfect. please go long only on TWO lots ... with FULL realization that you have to HOLD these two in case the market tanks suddenly. If you get 10-25 rupees profit on these two lots, please BOOK it. If you get 50-75 rupees loss, please buy two more lots to down-average, and try exiting with an overall 10-25 rupees profit per lot !
Even if you`re required to hold 4 lots of LARSEN at 950-900 levels at the current levels of our indices, it is not a bad bargain at all ... just hold these lots with conviction on at least medium-term basis, and, then, you keep shorting AGAINST these LONG lots - my simple BIDIRECTIONAL PLAY in futures !
