I am not denying the market cannot Tank further as you are quite right that the impact of Europe has still not discounted and may take the markets to new lows.

Situations is pretty bad but i am hoping that Govt may act now and can take various measures to hold our market with ban on shortselling OR by reducing circuit filters OR by increasing liquidity CRR cut OR thru P Notes.

markets will not react to the p note issue.......end of this week market will trade around 8000 levels because a big sell off is going to happen in europe and the us.the situation is very tense out there and people are very nervous all around the world as if the world is going to end.

if it can touch 117 then there might be a chance that it may go down to 100 as well, But i feel the Biggies won`t give up so easily this counter, 120 should serve as a long term support and the production is near., did you already received the prize money from your friend?

Dear KARUNAS,

P Notes restrictions ahs been removed and now this shows the GOI is concerned about the downfall and wants to hold the markets.

Time has come to invest by keeping another 10% downfall in any good stock from here in our mind and one can average at 10% from here further. I have purchased Indiabulls securities today at 31/-

One cannot be the best guy to buy at the lowest. But yes the market would still give ample time to buy at choice and i am expecting a short term pull back any time any day may be tomorrow.

From 240 Jan 2008 high it fell to 120 during the first biggest crash during Jan 2008. and then slowly it retraced to 190 levels and then the stock could not climb back to the previous high of 240 ultimately the down trend should take the stock at least to the previous low that is 120. Possibility 120 can also be broken this time and go further low to around 100/-but to reach 100 it might take some more time. First there should be a bounce at 120 from there it may pull up to 139 if this level remains as strong hurdle to go past then further weakness in the stock can very well test 100/- around Jan 2009 time frame. ...

Portfolio Manager PN Vijay feels it’s difficult to say if there is more bad news today. “We have been dancing to global cues for the previous one month. Hopefully, these cues will play themselves out soon,” he says.

“Domestically, things look much better now with inflation lower than previous levels and interest rates likely to come down in about two months,” Vijay said.

“The package got passed on Friday and that is also good news. Economically, India is the least affected by the developments in the US"....

The world`s financial markets face an uncertain and possibly volatile week as investors await details about how the Treasury will implement the government`s financial rescue package -- and watch for any further fallout from the credit crisis around the globe.

The markets have switched their focus to the world economy now that the $700 billion bailout plan has become law. And there`s reason for their concerns -- governments across Europe are rushing to prop up failing banks. On Sunday, Germany said it would follow suit with Ireland and Greece in guaranteeing all private bank accounts.

Those steps are the latest sign that the troubles of U.S. banks, which have all but paralyzed credit markets, are affecting the financial systems of other countries. Banks` hesitation to lend to one another and to many businesses and individuals is the consequence of the bad mortgage debt that the financial rescue is supposed to sweep up. But it`s still unclear how quickly financial institutions will be able to hand that debt to the U.S. government and convince the markets they are healthy again.

RPL production has started; but Mukesh Ambani will not speak anything before Dec 28, 2008.

He wants to make Dhirubhais birthday as birthday of RPL.

A surprise bonus is also possible for RPL shareholders.
