RPL is moving in market direction only now. But see , today market up about 450pts, but rpl move is sluggish. In near ter also, if market is green rpl can go up to 76 but not more than that. Good time to short between 75-76. even if it go to 80 also don`t worry.....

Stocks continue to trade in choppy fashion. Very Very Volatile.

Despite of all the bad news, markets are not reacting accordingly. This is weird. There are series of bad news today but it seems markets are immune now to these bad reports. Stocks are off to a bit of a rocky start, but are attempting to recover into positive ground. The recovery effort has been stymied by a sudden increase in selling pressure, however. There’s huge speculations going on it seems. Still, determining whether stocks will finish the session with gains or losses is a mere guessing game, though, especially amid such volatility. In the prior session, the Dow opened with a loss of more than 180 points, but finished the session more than 170 points higher. The Dow opened roughly 100 points lower this session.

The same will continue in India also in coming days.

A hearing for auto makers is under way. Executives from Ford (F 2.92, +0.07), General Motors (GM 4.76, -0.14), and Chrysler are expected to state their cases for a government-funded bailout. Bloomberg reported earlier this morning that a source indicated GM and Chrysler would consider bankruptcy as a last resort if it helped secure government funding.
Standard and Poor`s has cut GM`s corporate credit rating to CC from CCC+. Analysts at Credit Suisse cut their target price on shares of GM to $2 from $5.

Calling with bad news: AT&T to cut 12,000 jobs, or 4 percent of work force
AT&T Inc. joined the recession`s parade of layoffs Thursday by announcing plans to cut 12,000 jobs, about 4 percent of its work force.
The Dallas-based telecommunications company -- the nation`s largest -- said the job cuts will take place in December and throughout 2009. The company also plans to reduce capital spending next year.
DuPont warns of quarterly loss, to cut 2,500 jobs
Thursday December 4, 9:49 am ET
Chemical maker DuPont said on Thursday it expects to post a fourth-quarter loss and will cut 2,500 jobs as a steep drop in construction, car sales and consumer spending hurt its business.

Similarly there are series of other bad news… But markets are in green. This won’t continue though as the trend still remain negative.

Yes the trend is negative & there`s no point in buying the stocks. RPL will reach 60 and can slip even to 50 levels. I am not watching the price of the stocks. I am just monitoring the events & the trends. And the trend is negative. So I am shorting DOW, NASDAQ, NIFTY & US real estate (via ETF). I think we should not see the price levels to enter into RPL but should look for the trend reversal overall - meaning in the oil refineries sector as a whole.
Also, when RPL will be starting its production... that canl change the gears. Right now no levels are good to start fresh in RPL….Nither 60 nor 50.

U.S. stocks closed higher in another roller-coaster ride… very very volatile today, after data showing a large surge in the count of Americans refinancing their homes bolstered financial and consumer discretionary shares.
