IBsec is sort of flat Ispite of Indiabulls, IB real and nifty doing xtremly good. I have 2000 @ 69 bought on 8/27, Can any one suggest me the returns in near future

1st qtr all broking business company sale fall down by 15-20 % , this fall down to 25 %...

be in the stock , may fall to 50- 55 level ex div ..

I hold 20 shares since 23/04/08, am I elligible for the dividend? It will be delivered through cheque or direct in A/c.

Hi,
I think you mean the short selling of india bull sec.But you have to buy the shares before end of the day to close the transaction.
Whoever buys on Aug 27th and thereafter will not be eligible for dividend.One who sells on Aug 27th will be eligible for dividend.Those who buy before Aug 26th will be eligible for dividend.
Even if you have 30 shares,then 225rs should be credited to your bank account.

if thet says "Share Transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed during the period from August 29, 2008 to September 05, 2008 (both days inclusive), " and I wll buy on 28th-AUG, then would I be considered for the dividend, although my stock won't cedited to my account untill 30th (as it takes 3-4 days)

If I will sell on 27th-AUG then the stock will go from my account on 28th-AUG, would I be eligible for the DIVIDEND in that case

If I will buy between 29th-AUG & 4 sept, would there e any benefit.

ANy help would be appreciated.
