Compact Disc India Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 17, 2008, inter alia, to consider the following:
1. To consider and approve the Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter and half year ended on September 30, 2008.
2. To consider offer from iMedia Ventures Ltd to invest USD 10 Million in the expansion project of the Company.
3. To consider the offer from iMedia Ventures Ltd for buying 15% equity in the Company.
4. To review progress of various projects of the Company....

Yes. You are correct. Only mad are selling. But let them sell, because if they will not sell, then how can we buy :).
BTW, I am in heavy loss in this share. but i am still holding it and recommends u to hold it. I am sure some sources are intentionaly keep the share down. There must be something cooking behing this script....

gr8 future holds
even infy ipo was subscribed very modestly and see where is the company tdy
the company has most of the projects lined up in 09-10 so expect more profits at that time
company gave dividend for the very first time
such rumors of it going bust were still there when it was rising and the company has shown profits shuting all these rumors.

Who will believe the tall claims and results of this fraud management.?They could not even re-list their suspended company Total Exports so far.They will make big announcements and sell their own shares.Eventually it become a vanished company like their other company-Total Exports....

There is too much fuss about the company. Investors should plan their investment and not get too aggressive in this company. There is no corporate governance. There are plans, anybody can make plans but no significant results till now. I would advice long term investors to invest at every milestone the company achieves irrespective of the market position and not bet hugely at today\\\\\\\\`s position. Next milestone would be completion of one of their animation parks. Let\\\\\\\\`s see if the company can scale-up.

Announcement: Compact Disc India Ltd (CDI) has informed BSE that iMedia Ventures Ltd content developer to the world's largest media houses and a pioneer in Digital Entertainment has offered to invest US$ 10 million the expansion projects of CDI. This Company having presence in 28 countries has been associated with CDI for the last 6 years. This debt has been offered at 2.5 percent per annum over LIBOR inclusive of withholding tax or other applicable taxes for a period upto 10 years. iMedia Ventures have also shown keen interest in buying 15 percent equity in CDI. Both these offers will be considered in the next meeting of the Board of Directors of the company to be held during the third week of October, 2008

Yea..I too saw, but nothing so attractive in the annual report than the usual stuff. I dont see enough cash generation in the Cash Flow Statement.
They havent mentioned about the performance of Friends Forever movie which in their previous annual report said it would be released in 2007. And also no details about the performance of Parallel Universe.
