Dewan Housing Finance Corporation has declared its results for the quarter ended June 2008 (Q1). Its Q1 net profit was at Rs 19.63 crore versus Rs 14.17 crore YoY basis.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on July 28, 2008, inter alia, have accorded the following:
1. Adoption of audited balance sheet as at March 31, 2008 and the Profit and Loss Account for the financial year ended on that date, the Report of the Auditors and Director thereon.
2. Declaration of final divided at Re 1.00 (10%) per equity share on Rs 60.52 crore equity shares, in addition interim divided of 15% declared and paid, thus totalling to 25% of the financial year 2007-08.
3. Re-appointment of Shri. Sarang Wadhawan, R P Khosla and Shri. R S Hugar as Directors of the Company.
4. Appointment of M/s. B M Chaturvedi & Co., Chartered Accountants as the Auditors of the Company from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting upto the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting on remuneration, terms and conditions to be decided by the Board.
5. Appointment of Shri. Ajay Vazirani, Shri. Dheeraj Wadhawan and Shri. V K Chopra as Directors of the Company.
6. Re-classification in the Authorized Share Capital by conversion of the unutilized of Preference Shares into Equity Shares.
7. Revision in remuneration payable to the Vice Chairman & Managing Director.
