Excellent results declared by Automotive Axles for Apr to Jun-08 quarter. Net Profit is up 61.41% to Rs 193.53 million as compared to Rs 119.9 mn for Apr to Jun-07 quarter. Total Income is up by 54.86% in Apr to Jun-08 quarter to Rs 2,291.54 million as compared to Rs 1,479.75 mn for the same period last year. As compared to previous Jan to Mar-08 quarter, the Net Profit is up on Apr to Jun-08 by 34.53% and Total Income by 8.95%

For the 9 months ended Jun-08 the Net Profit is up 21.11% to Rs 483.58 million as compared to Rs 399.29 mn for the same period last year. The Total Income for 9 months ended Jun-08 is up by 35.89% to Rs 6,156.07 million as compared to Rs 4,530.04 mn for the same period last year.

The EPS for 9 months ended Jun-08 is Rs 32 (Rs 26.42 last year). The EPS for FY-08 should be around Rs 45. At current market price of Rs 263.55, the PE is 5.86. ...
