yes dear it will be done on its own.
it will be automatic credit in your demat a/c but same will take minimum 4 months time to complete all formalites....

All people holding shares on record date (yet to be announced) will get their shareholding converted in the swap ratio...

does it mean that if i hold 110 shares of aztec then i get 20 shares of mindtree or the calculation of swap shares is done in a different manner?...

Aztecsoft Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors at their meeting held on September 26, 2008 have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Aztecsoft Limited with MindTree Limited. The Board has approved the swap ratio as recommended by PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd and Adithya and Vishwas, Chartered Accountants and the Fair Opinion given by Karvy Investor Services Ltd, Category I Merchant Bankers. The Swap Ratio approved by the Board is: "2 (two) equity share of MindTree Limited of Rs. 10/- each, fully paid-up be allotted for every 11 (eleven) fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 3/- each of Aztecsoft Limited".

because of him aztec\\`s earlier partner dendrie went down.
dont know why MT buy this company. i guess MT commited a mistake....
