Is ur family then like the hindi serials khandani families i watch on TV.. did u see JAB WE MET.. i watched the joint family (kareena kapoor`s in the film) with so much interest.... but thats not what the Ekta kapoor serials portray... so exactly where do ekta kapooor type of joint families reside??? On the one hand we have such families like ekta kapoor and on the other hand i just got to see a clip where in a lady in US is driving 100 km thru snow in the evening (its dark like night at this time of the year there) to get back home to feed her hungry kids who are drinking cold pepsi and eating cold cake in that biting cold until she can come and prepare some hot dinner for them... she has to drive 100 km in biting cold, she has no maids and she has to work else she will be on the streets... how can i survive in such situtaion.. impossible for me...wonder how they manage it.. and if ekta kapoor`s indian women went to live in such places they would think the SAAS` atrocities are better than the atrocious american lifestyle.......

If bangaloreans came to chandigarh to set up business they would get up from underneath their blankets.. here they take off from work school etc if they see a little fog in the air... i came to know i have knees after the winters in bangalore.... lol lol.. its biting cold for us here and i am wearing a sweater for this cold.. u might laugh, but we bangaloreans cannot take heat or cold..we cannot work too hard and we cannot do without films or restaurants.... we may have to be rehabilitated shortly coz all opportunites for us here have been taken by other communiites. lol lol

btw if u took a drive thru bangalore it would be sight for sore eyes... lovely pink november flowers linign all raods.. no leaves whatsoever just pink flowers on all trees... its divine and stil i see folks driving blindly thru such an avenue... so what different does it make if manmohan singh converted our country to an english county or maintains the status of malgudi.. lol lol. these blind as bats thick skinned citizens have no eye for beauty and i am stunned by their attitude.... i just cannot comprehend such apathy for beauty. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

if you look at the facial strcture, skin color and hair color of indian across the length and breadth one thing that stands out is India has all the features from negroid to blue eyes to chinks lol lol.. so maybe its true that bharatvarsha also known as JAMBUDWIPA in our mythology was what constituted the world, and due to continental drift we have so many different countries now........

Dear RN, IPRU Life Ins. co. also provide ULIPs, but from the discussion between u & dear PCS, my take is to go for IDBI Welath Assurance Plan. The reason is it`s the most flexible ULIP available 2day & specially if u intend to use it more for Investment purpose & less for Insurance. The unlimited switching benefit in this ULIP means that u can virtually transfer ur money among different funds of the ULIP on daily basis without paying extra money which is not the case with all other ULIPs. Free switches r allowed in differetn Ins. cos. on different Nos. Some offer 2, some 4, some 20+ & some 52 but it`s the only one which offer unlimited free switches. Dear RN, My take on the discussion between U & Dear PCSPune - 1 MAN`S MEAT IS ANOTHER`S POISON. It`s true for both of u. 1 is champion of FnO (of course U) & another 1 is champion of ULIPs (who else our dear PCS). But reading the messages of both of U, it seems - 1 is talking French to another one who is speaking Arabic. (Just on a lighter notes) What I want to say is there may a whole lot of different strategies to tackle these testing times. Mine 1 is Pure term Insurance (if needed, otherwise scrap it), a mix of Diversified Eq. MFs, Gold ETFs & some simple instruments like bank FDs & POMIS. I`m agree with dear Ranjan, as the ins. prem. is recovered from our fund value, this ins. is not at all free in case of ULIP. Under ULIPs there r multiple investment fund option available with varried %age of Eq. & debt from 100% Eq. to hybrid funds to 100% money market funds. The important benefit which dear PCS is pointing - u can switch over to different funds as per the market cycles without bothering about the routine hassles of taxation, brokerage etc. To make this transfer u `ll have to contact ur ULIP issuing co. either thru Phone, E-mail, online etc. Thanks Ashal ...
