I agree that Dr Reddy’s is underpriced and is a growth story. It is a very good defensive stock to invest in the current extreme environment....

Dr Reddy’s could be short listed for the .5-billion sick fund tender in Germany of Germany’s largest health insurance fund Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse (AOK). Winning the tender would be explosive for Dr Reddy’s.
Global demand for generic drugs produced by firms such as Dr Reddy`s is booming as nations around the world battle rising healthcare costs.
Dr Reddy’s should start seeing the benefits of the sharp fall in the Rupee, once the company`s hedging program winds down.
Dr Reddy’s has also said at the Q2 results that margins should improve and targets full-year 25 pct revenue growth.
Dr Reddy’s has a huge cash balance with negligible debt and a very low PE.

Just touched 52 week low and thus looking more wekaer and can fall to further lows in coming sessions.......

This is a time tested stock and has reached yearly lows of 398 today and gives a good opportunity to enter the stock.I entered the stock today at 400.Buy at 400 and below!

Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 910.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 1250.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 9244.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 to Rs 9551.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.
