90/10 Principle
What is the 90/10 Principle? It means that 10 percent of life is made up of what happens to you; 90 percent of life is decided by how you react. Let`s use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what has just happened. What happens next will be determined by how you react. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows.

You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye.

After arriving late at the office, work seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find a small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter. Why? Because of your reaction that morning.

You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds, is what caused your bad day.

Apply the 90/10 principle. It will change your life, at least the way you react to situations.

Obama transition spokeswoman Amy Brundage, in a statement, said, "People of all backgrounds and beliefs will have a voice in the Obama-Biden Administration."

Still, leading activists say nonbelievers tend to be just as wary of organized atheism as they are of organized religion -- making it tough to pull together a cohesive movement.

"A pastor can say to his flock, `All rise,` and everyone rises. But try that in an atheist meeting," said Marvin Straus, co-founder of an atheist group in Boulder, Colo. "A third of the people will rise. A third will tell you to go to hell. And a third will start arguing....That`s why it`s hard to say where we`re going as a movement."

There is no evidence of any bear cartel functioning or any kind of manipulation in the Indian equities markets, CB Bhave, chairman of India`s markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), said here Saturday. But these people are hiding facts about the people who have profitted out of the stock markets. They refuse to offer vital information!

Waterproof" versions of popular varieties of rice, which can withstand 2 weeks of complete submergence, have successfully passed tests
in farmers` fields in India and Bangladesh, and can tackle the problem of major crop losses due to flooding.

The flood-tolerant versions of the "mega-varieties" of rice, which are high-yielding varieties popular with both farmers and consumers that are grown over huge areas across Asia, are effectively identical to their susceptible counterparts, but recover after severe flooding to yield well.

Several of these varieties are now close to official release by national and state seed certification agencies in India and Bangladesh, where farmers suffer major crop losses because of flooding of up to 4 million tons of rice per year. This is enough rice to feed 30 million people.

The new varieties were made possible following the identification of a single gene that is responsible for most of the submergence tolerance.

East UP Bihar not hindi speaking belt
I can tell you one story for you

A person was very fond of parrots. He used to catch parrots, train them and sell them to interested people. One time he got a good parrot, so he trained him in talking, and when he was trained he presented him to king. King liked the parrot because he used to reply his questions too.

The king made special arrangements for his safety, security and care and if somebody will tell me about hi death, he will be hung. Hearing this the parrot was kept under special care. But one day suddenly the parrot died. Now who should go and inform this to king?

The servant went to Birbal and told him his plight. He said - "If I inform him about parrot`s death, then he will kill me, but if I do not tell him, then also he will kill me, so please save me."

Birbal thought a while and sent him back to his work, and he himself went to the king and said - "Sir, Your parrot..." King asked -"What about parrot?" Birbal again stammered - "Your parrot, Sir." King asked - "Birbal, What happened to my parrot?" Birbal again said - "Your parrot..." King asked - "I am asking you, what happened to my parrot? Say something in the name Allaah."

Then Birbal said - "Jahaanpanaah, Your parrot neither eats anything, nor drinks water, nor speaks, nor moves his feathers, nor opens his eyes..." The king said - "What? Has the parrot died?" Birbal said - "I did not say it. You said it."

King understood why Birbal had to say this in this way. He got very happy with Birbal`s way of telling him about his parrot.

Generalisation based on one incident? Shows how silly and biased you are.

Does this happen every day?

One incident and you classify the entire Hindi speaking/Nort Indian as a lawless and uncouth.
