Dear avishree,
you said RNRL will never go down from 30. Today we were dangerously close, but for the miraculous rally. With majority of global markets trading at 6 year lows, and eventually 16 year lows do you still hold your thought that RNRL cant crack 30?
Earlier lot of folks fought with me that its impossible to break 60 and the target is 500 in 6-9 months and some said 1000 in 2 years.
They are all silent today without posting a single thought on RNRL. I told them it will touch 28. Its still to hit there but atleast got closer on my targets rather than other folks who said 500 etc..
My suggestion to the investor community is to buy PUNJ LLOYD at CMP and also in corrections. Just keep on adding on decline and if it comes to 75 add aggressively. Dont know if it can break 100, but i am expecting it to hit 100. But dont wait for 100, just keep buying at CMP and add in declines. One needs to remember whenever the market recovers and over a period of 5-7 years or may be more, one will share their wealth success to others that they have bought PUNJ LLOYD at IPO price. Currently PUNJ LLOYD is trading at IPO price. Thank your good luck and keep on adding this stock. It will be an immense wealth creator. Good Luck....

M O U between Bros placed in court-Not for Public

Part of the much talked about Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ambani brothers was placed in the Bombay High court on
Wednesday.
Ram Jethmalani, counsel for Anil Ambani`s Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL), submitted the MoU along with an affidavit to the court to which Harish Salve, counsel for Mukesh Ambani`s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), said he had a right to cross-examine the document. The two counsels united in saying that the contents of the documents should not be made public. RNRL is relying on this MoU in its case against RIL to settle the terms of supply of gas from the Krishna-Godavari basin off the Andhra Pradesh coast by RIL to RNRL`s power projects.
The MoU records the arrangement between the two brothers as part of the demerger scheme and also notes what needs to be done in future. The high court has adjourned the hearing of the case till October 15.
According to the Anil Ambani group, RIL had contracted to supply 12 million standard cubic metres of gas per day (MMSCMD) to the state-run National Thermal Power Corp (NTPC) at $2.34 per unit, and it was agreed that if the gas was not supplied, it would be sold to RNRL.
RIL had also agreed to supply the next 28 MMSCMD of gas to his company for power and other projects, also at $2.34 million British thermal units, for 17 years, the group said.

you mean dilute RNRL with RIL ,will be the best strategy, gain in rnrl is 100%,but loss in RIL is 30% from present valuation according to ur estimate, then better win wth RIL.

Buy RNRL just before 27.11.08 before the hearing in the Court. In all probability RNRL will get windfall gain and if ruling comes in its favour then it may cross Rs. 100, while RIL will go down to Rs. 850.
Now it is to be seen who is better PRO? MDA or ADA ?

I fully agree with u in this, Many days ago I wrote to play contrarian and buy RNRL and RIL both and wait for the court judgment, One can gain both ways as RIL has limited downside even if it loses the case, but imagine the gain if it goes in favor of RNRL....

Reliance Industries (RIL) cannot sell gas to anybody at a price less than USD 4.20 per British thermal units (BTU) without approving the pricing formula; the government informed the Bombay High Court through an affidavit, reports Economic Times.
Division bench of Justices J N Patel and K K Tated was hearing the dispute between RIL and Relaince Natural Resources (RNRL) over gas supply master agreement pertaining to supply of natural gas from RIL`s Krishna Godavari reserves to RNRL`s power plants at a predetermined price.
RIL had argued that it could not supply gas to RNRL at USD 2.34 per mmBTU, which RNRL argued was in accordance with the memorandum of understanding between Ambani brothers before the Reliance (Q, N,C,F)* demerger. RIL had contended that the price at which RNRL sought the gas was subject to government`s approval, which in turn, the government endorsed in its affidavit filed.
The government`s affidavit stated that price formula approved by eGOM and subsequently accepted by RIL, is applicable to ``all gas``, including government`s share as well as the gas which RIL will sell to other parties.

Anil stand to GAIN

The government is unlikely to tell the Bombay High Court today that it has the power to decide the selling price of natural gas produced from Reliance Industries` Krishna Godavari basin, going by its stated position in the Parliament so far.
A division bench hearing the case had on Tuesday asked the government to give a clear `yes` or `no` on whether the Mukesh Ambani-promoted firm has the freedom to price its gas as it wants. The government counsel had sought time till Friday to file a reply.
RIL`s case against honouring its gas supply contract with Anil Ambani`s Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) would get a much needed shot in the arm if the government claims the right to price the gas.
RIL stands to gain or lose more than Rs 77,000 crore from its two cases against RNRL and state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
The government`s stand on the issue in the Parliament has been that it does not interfere in the sale price of gas, but only approves the "formula or basis on which the prices shall be determined for the purposes of determining the government take."
