With reference to the earlier announcement dated November 01, 2008 regarding fixes Record Date for Interim Dividend, Automotive Axles Ltd has now informed BSE that the Board of Directors did not declare the interim dividend and therefore, the record date which was fixed on "November 21, 2008" for the purpose of interim dividend stands cancelled.

This is compelling Automotive Axles Limited to moderate the production for next two months. The company has decided to shut down operations for at least a week during the months of November & December 2008."
