Dear bhusbhac, In bear market fundamentals don`t work. Stock prices change because of “supply and demand”. If more people want to buy a stock (demand) than sell it (supply), then the price moves up! If more people wanted to sell a stock than buy it, there would be greater supply than demand, and the price would fall. (Basics of economics!)...

There are no fundamentals underlying these kind of targets and calls and hence although I am a big time loser in ignoring such calls I personally feel that if this stock does not reach 2500 and NIFTY does not bounce back to at least 5500 in the next 12 months then it is just as bad a decision as continuing my own personal business at a loss.

I entered at around 5500 and enlarged my portfolio around 5800 now because of further investments from the 3800 levels if NIFTY touches 4800 I will break even whenever it happens.

There are too many voices hammering the market down and creating panic. I am anticipating that very soon certain policy decisions are in the offing with the crash in commodity markets and trends will start reversing.

Well some of us will ahve to be brave and courageous to weather this storm.

RIL has reclassified promoter shareholding AHEAD OF warrant conversion. That put a lot of pressure on Reliance stocks.

Warrant conversion has infused over Rs 15,100 crore into RIL funds....

Reliance Industries is a good buy at the current levels.

But today the markets being takeover by traders, so investors are running away; the gas production coming in, the refinery coming in, the resolution of the gas pricing; Reliance is a fantastic long-term buy.

The refining margins are under pressure for the refinery things including Reliance. But I would still say at this type of pricing its a steal.

reliance is a great long term bet considering both KG basin and RPL refinery.............. please hold on to the stock for two years and u will earn a great return...........
