Balkrishna Industries Limited had informed the Exchange that the Members at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on August 23, 2008 inter-alia, have accorded the following: Declaration of 6% Final Dividend i.e. Rs. 6.00 per on Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each. The Company has now informed the Exchange that there is a typographical error, declaration of final dividend was wrongly written as 6% instead of 60%, read as follows: "Declaration of 60% Final Dividend i.e. Rs.6.00 per on Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each"....

With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 25, 2008 regarding Outcome of AGM, Balkrishna Industries Ltd has now informed BSE that there is an typographical error in point no. 2, declaration of final dividend written as 6% instead of 60%, it should be read as follows:

"Declaration of 60% Final Dividend i.e. Rs 6.00 per on Equity Share of Rs 10/- each."...
