Yes, it is time accumulate this stock and sleep on it. I am a recent entrant into this stock, but would like to accumulate when negative news is at the forefront.

Would be happy to see the stock go down or stay flat at least for the next six months, which will help me to accumulate more :)

Reasons to accumulate: 1) Below NAV, 2) Excellent ROE, comparable to some of the high fliers of Finance sector, 3) Again, excellent RoA and I would rate it as just a notch below the market leader HDFC and 4) Reducing debt levels and 5) what else, deadly cheap PE....

brilliant stock not being recognised since market cap only 300 crore
7% dividend yield tax free at the minimum
trading below book value
majority govt enterprise ownership
target 90 rs in 12 months minimum

brilliant stock not being recognised since market cap only 300 crore
7% dividend yield tax free at the minimum
trading below book value
majority govt enterprise ownership
target 90 rs in 12 months minimum...

GIC Hsg.finance is an excellent scrip. Investors with small budget proposals, can get small lots at convenience. As an alternative, they can consider LIC HSG FINANCE Ltd shares also. My inner feeling is, both will come together in a few years, as many changes are to take place in Insurance market after the StateBank act amendment bill. This is just a food for thought.
