the problem of global recession is much more grave than evident,world economy is in jeopardy,precautionary steps taken by america are not enough,industries are facing production cuts and staff reduction,soon the spiralling effect will cause banks to show negative growth,when us japan and china are gasping,one cannot be proud of indian economy,let our pm and fm make big statements,they know very well that we are not an insulated economy,in fact we are heavily dependent for our earning on our export,what will happen if other countries plagued with recession stop importing our goods or services,we are definitely going to stumble,and those days are not far away,when stockprices will go below their face value,because no fii wiill come to buy in large quantities in big groups,the golden days are over and the world will see a nioticeable change in international politics,us playing less important role ,our markets are definitely going down steadily and certainly,no artificial and external measures can stop the erosion...

I liked the term you used - trade addiction.Perhaps you are correct as my wife also says the same. But I am very happy to be totally immersed in stocks. To be totally infatuated with something gives that feeling of bondness. I hope you understand what I mean.
Anyway, yes I do use japanese candlestick patterns which are very useful indeed. This is combined with various other tools. Many people use different tools which come in hundreds. It depends on which tool one is most comfortable with. The tools I use , I mostly mention in messages while giving the nifty levels. Take care

My advice for all boarders is not to invest in F&O stocks for some time. A cartel is manipulating these stocks to earn heavy profits due to poor volumes and poor sentiments. Views are welcome....

You had been given right advice. Book profit in
Nifty call options as soon as Nifty approaches 2770
on Monday or Tuesday and then book profit in Nifty
Put Options when it falls from the resistace of 2795
or so to the level below 2500, I think.
Your bread seems to be buttered on both sides. Pl.
refer to my booklet GOLDPOT frequnetly. It is better
to keep its hard copy with you when you are not near
your computer. It will help.

Everybody is writing so many things except about the burning suject under this thread. most of the boarders are very intelligent and expert, I think, therefore I expect them to take a serious note of it. Different matter should be written with a proper subject....

Hi lovemeall,
On Nifty weekly charts, we still have not fallen below the previous october lows. If we close the coming week higher, then we would have made a higher bottom on the long term trend chart. Also previous high was 3000 so if we close the week above that or next week above that we would have made a higher top as well. Does this signify the bear market bottom is in place?
Note: I am using end of week (EOW) values only...
