micky59,
For days I have not been able to open the computer due to shifting of our residence.
Today I thought it to find a few minutes to see what is happening. I saw your msg of congratulation sent to Abhinav Bindra.
I read in news paper that he never practised at the shooting centre the govt provided as it was unfit to do so. He done all his practise at his own house. And he went out of the country to get all what he needed to update him.
Our system never produces a champion. It is controlled by power hungry politicians, and not by experts. And we start the preparation for world championship events a few days ahead, whereas it takes constant and continuous preparation by countries like China. See how their children defeating the worlds renowned stalwarts. See the army of Russian and Serbian girls dominate the world tennis. Countries produce their heroes, whereas one or the other make history in ndia due to their tallent and hard work, without the system. When they win, the politicians and govt open their eyes and go with garlands to get photographed.
It is nothing new in India. We announce aid and rewards after some thing goes wrong, someone is dead. A disaster must be there for anything to be done, not before that There is nothing for here for the living ones. Thats India!

Tradeguru,
The court decision 2morrow may affect either RIL or RNRL (if it is actually taking place - it can be postponed further - as in India, a court case can take centuries to be closed).
In case the decision comes in favour of RIL, then it will flare up. Naturally it will adversally affect the other side. It can be vice versa also. One will gain and the other will lose. Unfortunately, the gainer and loser can be the same person as most of the investors are co-holders of both the stocks. I am too. It is a square up of things then.

Dear K N Pillai,
It is interesting to intract with a very well knoweldgeable person like you, without an agitating mind. You know well what you are writing, that is the most important thing I like.
We keep the same opinion and your last para certifies it. We all want to be good human beings, irrespective of what the religion says. Religions, when we look at them from outside, are too good but the members who stay inside the walls are not adopting what they teach and that is what makes the world unlivable.
I am a Hindu. I am proud of it as I born and brought in that culture. We have very good people in that religion and bad people also. It is the same thing for other religions too. Hindu religion is more tolerant and that makes it more acceptable. Tolerance is its strength but its weakness also. If you ask me I would like to see the world being ruled by Hinduism. I may go further ahead and say I would like to have a wider border for our country which may extend half of the world. (A dream and not going to be translated into reality at any time in future). Having said so, I still stick to what you said in your last para.

knair...

Dear goldchest,
Thanks for your studied reply.
Steps to be taken before entering into a stock as suggested by you are good if followed by an investor.
Exiting a stock if it does not give a gain for a long time is a good strategy. I agree with you.
When we are in the mkt, it is purely and exclusively for making some money out of it irrespective of whatever method we may adopt. It can be SL, MT or LT. If money is made, the efforts bring fruit and it ends there. In case we loose, it is due to bad planning or wrong entry or wrong exit - whatever it may be can only be analysed after we go through pain.

Dear K N Pillai,
It is great that you went so deep into the matter to explain who is a Hindu or a Muslim or a Christian. The elaborative post certainly is a master piece, and I give 10 out of 10 to you.
Those who follow the scriptural authority of a religion are members of that religion. When we are called Hindus, we therefore follow the scriptural disciplines of Hinduism, as explained in the Vedas and Sasthras, Bhagvat Gita etc. It is the same thing for the other religious followers but to follow their on scriptures.
Since we are discussing the issue, I agree with what you have stated. In my first reply to you, I raised a question - WHO WAS THE FIRST HINDU FROM WHOM WE ALL CAME OUT? WHO WAS THE FIRST MUSLIM FROM WHOM ALL THE OTHER MUSLIMS TOOK BIRTH, SIMILARLY WHO WAS THE FIRST CHRISTIAN FROM WHOM ALL THE CHRISTAIN COMMUNITY RAISED OR FOR THAT MATTER ANY OTHER RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY?
There was no Hindu or Muslim or Chistain or any other similar religious human being at the beginning. It all started subsequent to the division people made due to difference of opinion, as we are observing even today. Some followed one or the other and some opposed and they became a different category. It then took stock of it and made rules and regulations as is being done today. Experts contributed their intelligency to formalise all these at a latter stage. (It is just like what is happening in the mkt. We analyse things and form our opinions after the mkt has done its job. In other words, we do the postmartem.)
Thats why I mentioned that if a child after its birth is put in any basket, it becomes a part of it like Hindu Muslim or any other regligious follower. In case that child is left in the animal kingdom, it becomes just like an animal in nature and behaviours.
We become what our formative nature and environment teaches us.
I believe that there was no religionat all and whatever religion we have today is what man has made and modified from time to time. It is a belief and nothing else. There is nothing wrong in any religion but we are the people who poison it.
I cannot imagin for a world where there will be no religion!
I request our boarder family to discuss the matter in a positive way, sporting way and a cheerful way without bringing conflict in between.
with regards,
knair
