One can never predict such things. But the dow Jones is definitley not bottomed out yet. There is more pain to come as General Motors and Citigroup are being targetted by the short sellers now. I thought it was only our politicans who said and did stupid things and affected the stock markets but it seems to be the same way in the US. Just yesterday they announced that the auto makers would received funding and around 30 minutes after that other politicans came out and opposed it. I see this saga carrying out atleast till December. Expect GM to be in the news everyday. Hopefully the stock price doesnt reach 0 before that. And then there is Citigroup....IF this company were to fail it would bring down the world economy. Goldman Sachs is also in the news and until these two companies reach some sort of a merger or acquesition or something I dont see the Dow Jones bottoming out. Which simply means that our copy cat market will not bottom out anytime soon. Expect aleast 7000 on the Dow Jones sometime soon. The short sellers will make sure of that...

rpl is a very good stock for the long term but at present rpl wont go anywhere even if production starts because of the negative sentiment in the market.take for example the simple theory like how can one survive without oxygen?same way how can a country or company survive if there is no demand for their products.the present situation really worse....

TCS pips Infy, Wipro to bag ESIC contract. TCS emerges Lowest Bidder For Largest E-Governance Deal To Computerise Employee State Insurance Corporation. According to a government official, TCS bid Rs 1,677 crore for the contract, beating its closest IT rivals Infosys and Wipro who bid about Rs 2,100 crore and Rs 1,890 crore respectively. The financial bids were opened on Tuesday. While none of the parties were willing to comment, normally tendered contracts are awarded to the L-1 (lowest) bidder. An announcement will be made soon, said the government official who requested anonymity. ESIC is a statutory corporation under the ministry of labour & employment for implementing social security schemes. The ESIC scheme provides social security protection to over one crore industrial workers and their family members under the ESI Act 1948. The bids were invited from for implementation of ‘Project Panchdeep’ on build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis towards IT-enablement of ESIC from global IT service providers. According to the contract, all 1.01-crore users (and family members) of ESIC will be issued smart cards that will store their insurance payment, billing and medical records. The project is slated to be operational in the next 12-18 months. The ESIC project will beat the Rs 1,000-crore Passport Seva Project, again bagged by TCS, as the largest egovernance contract in the country.
