V can expect short rally after 1st week of dec lasting till dec end or mid Jan. but rally will b more pwered by Operators than fundamentals/technicals. I would prefer stocks with good track records & operator base combined, has very high promoters holding, good future growth. GODREJ IND & ADANI ENT are two such stocks. Few days back Gautam Adani bought good no. of shares of Adani Ent. Godrej Ind (PE 30+) has Godrej Properties` story.

From punter stocks, I would go for Landmarc Leisure & Deccan Goldmines - later one has good future ahead. SUGGEST me some more if you know....

Godrej Industries Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 27, 2008 approved the following business for which approval of shareholders by Postal Ballot is sought: (1) Sale of partial/full investment in Godrej Hicare Limited/enter into joint venture. (2) To further invest in securities of and/or place intercorporate deposits with and/or invest in debentures of and/or give guarantee(s) to and or make loans or any other form of debt to and/or investment in Godrej Properties Limited, under Section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956, upto a sum of Rs.100 crore. (3) To further invest in Securities of and/or place intercorporate deposits with and/or invest in debentures of and/or give guarantee(s) to and or make loans or any other form of debt to and/or investment in Ensemble Holdings & Finance Limited, under Section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956 upto a sum of Rs. 50 crore. (4) To further invest in securities of and/or place intercorporate deposits with and/or invest in debentures of and/or give guarantee(s) to and or make loans or any other form of debt to and/or investment in Godrej Hershey Limited, under Section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956, upto a sum of Rs.40 crore. Mr. B.M. Shemlani, Chartered Accountant and failing him Mr. Kalidas Vanjpe, Practicing Company Secretary has been appointed by the Board as Scrutinizer for conducting the Postal Ballot process in a fair and transparent manner. Duly completed Postal Ballot form should reach to the Scrutinizer before the close of working hours on December 19, 2008. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Board of Directors of the Company after completion of the scrutiny. Results of the Postal Ballot will be announced by the Chairman on December 22, 2008. Godrej Industries Ltd. has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated October 27, 2008 that "The Board of Directors of the Company has today at its meeting accorded its consent to the following: (1) Approval for divestment /joint ventures formation in Godrej Hicare Ltd. (GHCL): GHCL is in the process of appointing an investment banker for sale of part/ whole of GIL holding in GHCL and/or restructuring of GHCL by inviting a JV Partner. Approval of the shareholders will be sought for the above authorising the Board of Directors to accept the most profitable offer received. The decision to divest/enter into Joint Venture will be taken by the Board after taking into account an appropriate multiple of the current earnings of the Company, future earnings projections and the order book position. (2) Further investment u/s 372A of the Companies Act, 1956 : It is proposed to further invest in the following companies:- (a) Godrej Properties Ltd. upto a sum of Rs.100 crore. (b) Ensemble Holdings & Finance Ltd. upto a sum of Rs.50 crore. (c) Godrej Hershey Ltd. (GHL) upto a sum of Rs.40 crore. The aforesaid proposals are subject to the approval of the shareholders"....
