Ispat Group’s Balasore Alloys plans to increase its ferrochromium capacity by 150% to 250 kt/y and add 100 kt/y of manganese alloy capacity over the next two years.
Mr RK Jena joint MD of Balasore Alloys Limited has recently explained about the plans to expand the capacities for production of ferroalloys, to set up the countermeasures for raw materials and to increase the facilities for generation of electric power.
Mr Jena outlined the structure to produce 150,000 tonnes per annum of ferrochrome, 100,000 tonnes per annum of manganese ferroalloys, 250,000 tonnes per annum in total of ferroalloys, by means of constructing new electric furnaces and expanding capacities of the existing electric furnaces...
so consider this stock in your portfoio........
