Deccan Aviation Limited has informed the Exchange that in terms of the Composite Scheme of Arrangement between Kingfisher Airlines Limited, Deccan Aviation Limited, Deccan Charters Limited and their respective Shareholders and Creditors sanctioned by the Honble High Court of Karnataka vide Order date 16th June, 2008, the name of the Company has changed from Deccan Aviation Limited to Kingfisher Airlines Limited w.e.f. 5th September, 2008. Further the company has informed the Exchange that, the Fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon Change of Name is received by the company....

US markets ahve collapsed totally yesterday night...Nifty may come down to 3200 and we may see lower circuit today..

The company will still reel under losses being made earlier. It has a strong resistance zone of 95-100 and should find it hard to cross over it. International operations will help the balance sheet along with the cut in ATF prices. But, i will still suggest to stay away from this counter if you are new entrant, if you already an investor, then you should look at 100 levels. cross over of that will lead a fresh life in it.

At 11:11 am, Deccan Aviation was quoting at Rs 83.85, up Rs 4.50, or 5.67%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 84.80 and an intraday low of Rs 79.80. It was trading with volumes of 200,679 shares. On Friday the share closed up 4.48% or Rs 3.40 at Rs 79.35.
