Alstom Projects India Limited has informed the Exchange regarding the standalone Results for the quarter ended on 30-SEP-2008 as follows: Net Sales of Rs. 58120 lacs for quarter ending on 30-SEP-2008 against Rs. 39810 lacs for the quarter ending on 30-SEP-2007. Net Profit / (Loss) of Rs. 5901 lacs for the quarter ending on 30-SEP-2008 against Rs. 2420 lacs for the quarter ending on 30-SEP-2007.

Alstom Projects India Limited has informed the Exchange that: "Mrs. Naina R. Desai has resigned as the Whole-time Director and Company Secretary of the Company and that the said resignation would be effective from the close of business hours on 31st October , 2008. Mr. Sekhar Bhattacharjee would be appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from 1st November, 2008. The above changes have been noted and approved at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on 24th October, 2008"....
