Gvk Power & Infrastructure Limited had informed the Exchange that the Company has divested its entire equity holding in GVK Aviation Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, which is engaged in the business of aviation, owning and chartering of private aircrafts and helicopters. The Company has now informed the Exchange that: "We understand that the above disclosure is being wrongly perceived as divestment of equity by GVK in Mumbai International Airport Private Limited, a SPV formed for operating, managing and developing the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai. In this regard, we wish to clarify and confirm that GVK continues to hold 37% equity in Mumbai International Airport Private Limited. This clarification is being issued in the interest of all the stakeholders of the Company"....

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd (GVKPIL) has informed BSE that the Company has divested the entire equity holding in its wholly owned subsidiary i.e. GVK Aviation Pvt. Ltd. Hence, effective September 30, 2008 the said Company is no longer a wholly owned subsidiary of GVKPIL. 
Buy it at Rs.14 or below

market is crashing. stocks` values are diluting including gvkpil. when compare with others gvkpil is low price share hence it can accumulate in large quantity. it may be bought in a phased manner and sell when market is up taking reasonable profit. good luck...

As all infra/realty stocks are getting corrected, GVK too is a candidate, so far not corrected. It can be bought around 16-17 levels.
