Myself is knowing ASHAPURA GROUP since last 20 years as a Chartered Accountent & nearby with Management.
Some minor fire happens in H.O.Mumbai, don`t worry, bcoz the same is already insured, after 2 days, the same is working.
For Kerala plant : as u know, Naxelites community are there, some riots, fire insidents, plant damaged 10 to 10%.
Ashapura group`s all plant, like, AML-BARAYA, AML-MADHAPAR, AVL-LER, AML-JAMKHAMBHALIYA all r working very smoothly, also Nigeria project completed & Bauxite export from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra also in full fladge.
Company`s Aluminium Refinery project is on the way, Total 2185 Acres land will be alloted within 10 to 15 days by govt.
Jam khambhaliya bauxite will start within a month. After-all Modiji hay..!!
Some Mutual funds are cornering this equity.
I also invest big amount in this company, but I am confident, still I am purchasing.

Wrong statement, I am working in this company in prodn.department, our export is continue & production target is day by day under pressure,
Regarding projects :
CAOLIN project in Kerala are completed, trial prodn. is started.
ALUMINIUM REFINERY : Second smelter plant`s public hearing will be on 5th Dec., u can see this on GPCB/CPCB web. first phase of alumina`s BHOOMIPOOJAN will be on jan/feb, 09.
THER ARE NO CRISIS, ALL PLANT IS WORKING UNDER WORK PRESSURE TO FULFIL EXPORT, TO-DAY ALSO ONE SHIP ARE LAYING IN ADANI PORT, MUNDRA.
ONLY SOME BAUXITE PROBLEM AT JAMKHAMBHALIYA, WHICH WILL SOLVE WITHIN A MONTH OR TWO.
IF YOU STILL UNDER CONFUSION, GOD GIVE YOU SADBHUDHI LIKE MEGA PATKAR...!!

Ashapura Minechem Ltd has informed BSE about the following:
1. A fire broke out on the evening of November 16, 2008 at the Corporate / Registered Office of the Company at the third floor of Jeevan Udyog Building, D N Road, Fort, Mumbai - 400 001. One of the Offices was completely engulfed and damage was caused to the others.
The Company is not presently in a position to ascertain the actual loss and damage caused, but amongst others various records, documents, physical assets, systems, computers etc. have been completely destroyed.
2. Further, an unfortunate incident on the same date also took place at the Companys Plant at Trivendrum, wherein a mob of 300 - 400 people entered the plant, completely ransacked it and set it on fire. The damage is yet to be ascertained.
There have been no casualties in both the above mentioned incidents and the relevant authorities have been informed of the same.
Both the Properties are sufficiently insured and the Company express no financial impact on account of the same....

i heard that gujrat gove. intruduce a new mining policy soon may be it will come before des-08 if ones ban lifted in this new policy so bauxite marketing not a problem Becoze it a raw gold also not even this comapeny share down also GMDC condition very poor it come 500 to 42 so pls keep in the share in your portpholiyo ...

in khambhalia calcine bauxite oparetion contiue in full faze only export stoped from last 4 month may be it will be start in des-so if can start export this share come atleast 80-100 Rs in near feture

Also, one news I share with you, Gujarat government is going to declare new mining policy, afterall Modi saab is very positive for Industry.
Any news about Jam khambhalia Bauxite export matter? when will start ?
